ATTACKERS' FIREPOWER

Attacking is the only way to win in football, although there are coaches and players who say that scoring a goal is a mere detail. As the former coach of the Brazilian national team said in 2003, “a goal is just a detail,” which he later said was taken out of context.

There are so many great attackers who have played on the pitch throughout the history of football. To avoid controversy, we will list here the most emblematic scorers counting only the official goals:

1 - Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) 910 goals

2 - Lionel Messi (Argentina) 850 goals

3 - Josef Bican (Czechia) 805 goals

4 - Romário (Brazil) 772 goals

5 - Pelé (Brazil) 746 goals

6 - Ferenc Puskás (Hungary) 748 goals

7 - Gerd Müller (Germany) 735 goals

Top scorers in European competitions

Champions League

Raphinha (Barcelona), Harry Kane (Bayern), Lewandowski (Barcelona) and Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting) with 5 goals

Europa League

Ayoub El Kaabi (Olympiacos), Yunus Argün (Galatasaray) and Samu Omorodion (Porto) with 4 goals

Conference League

João Félix and Christopher Nkuku (Chelsea), Afimico Pululu (Jagiellonia Białystok) with 4 goals.

In FootballTeam, the overview of the best attacks and the top scorers in the 25th round is as follows:

I look forward to your guesses in the comments.

See you next time!

PROFILES OF FOOTBALLTEAM GANGSTERS #6 HOBBIT

The people and events presented below are very real, often embellished, but not in this case, because I had to censor a large part of the material. Nevertheless, you should not take everything seriously. Before trying to repeat any illegal actions presented below, consult an Admin or a pharmacist.

A short history of his career:

Hobbit, also known as Hobbit2115 or for the more initiated simply Szczur, may not be as well-known a person as other gangsters, but if someone has heard of him or (worse, hehe) knows him, they know that he is the perfect gangster in the world of FootballTeam.

His career is primarily DREAM STATE VI. You can accuse him of many things, from one stupidity to another stupidity, but you cannot say that he is not a loyal and devoted player.

He played most of his career on the Polish, Latino server and now on Speed. His trademark action is losing the European Tournament finals, he has a 100% success rate, he lost all 3 finals.

In the first one he was the total favorite, but he messed up with the tactics, because "the internet was lagging and the graphics weren't loading", so he tried to guess by heart what tactics were where.

The second final wasn't his fault, but during the third one he went go-karting just before the start of the match, even though he was the person responsible for SFG, because he was the only one with a set. Not to mention that he only started the boost at the end of the first half.

A few stories:

There are a lot of anecdotes about the Hobbit.

One day during the holidays he threw a party at his parents' plot. He also organized games, one of which he immortalized and sent to us to brag about was throwing garden chairs from a distance.

Honestly, I don't know anyone else who could have come up with such a stupid idea for a game during the party. The fun ended quickly, because they quickly ran out of chairs. What happened next, unfortunately I can't describe, because I'm sure it wouldn't pass verification before publication.

The bottle of Jager, which he said he got for his 18th birthday (although none of us believes he's older than 16), is also legendary. For over 2 years, at every possible opportunity (or without any occasion), he posted a photo of the bottle of Jager. For over 2 years, basically nothing has changed from it. It's also possible that he found the bottle and poured water in it so he could post photos.

Quotes of the day and Adi:

I have the pleasure (or displeasure) of playing with him once again on the Speed server, in fact, he gathered our group to play again. Now, the time between matches is made more pleasant by conversations between him and Adi, whose adventures I also described earlier.

When the right time comes, Adi and Hobbit sit down at the computer surrounded by volumes of scientific publications and begin their dialogue full of substantive reflections, deep analyses, subtle nuances, as well as practical examples from their many years of research.

It is a kind of substantive feast that forces us outside observers to open up to new perspectives in various fields of both exact sciences and humanities. In short, they try to prove each other stupid and reduce every possible conversation to the intercourse of two men as quickly as possible.

Discord users may know Szczurek from his quotes of the day, which he publishes almost daily.

Here are a few examples:

“Even grass doesn't grow in dry conditions, so you have to take steroids.”

“For Halloween, you have to dress up as a salad so that fat women avoid you”

“Practice makes perfect, a needle works wonders”

“It's better to eat cake with twelve than shit by yourself”

It's hard to choose something, because most of them are not suitable for publication, but if anyone is interested in finding out more quotes of the day from the hero of our material, I invite you to the FootballTeam Discord and simply type in the search engine: “quote of the day”, there you will find a lot of it, if it is not deleted.

That would be all, although there could be much more, those who know the Hobbit know it exactly, those who do not know it are lucky. Finally, I will say goodbye in the way Adi greets us every day: “Goodbye everyone EXCEPT for the Rat.”

MATCH REPORT  RED BULL LONDON - LEGENDY JUTRA MU

You have to know that the Journal that comes out on Wednesday is put together from the previous Friday, and the matches I describe took place even earlier. Therefore, we should rather talk about “News straight from Internet Explorer”, but I try to find matches that stand out among the millions of data registered by the server.

Describing this match, I don't know yet how the competition in this league will end, but you, reading this article today, already know. Grab a cup of tea and read about a fascinating clash in the Italian 2B league, the outcome of which could have an impact on who will advance to the 1st league.

It's Sunday, November 17th. It's already getting dark outside, because we're talking about a match starting at 16:00. Two candidates for promotion face each other: Red Bull London and Legendy Jutra MU. Before the match, both teams were neighbours in the table: the guests had a 2-point advantage over the hosts, so the temperature of the clash was right and promised great emotions.

Red Bull London started the match brilliantly, although it must be said that there was a lot of luck involved. Paul Morphy took advantage of Dinco's pass in the penalty area in the 5th minute, but the ball hit both posts after his shot and only then rolled into the goal. Either way, as the classic says: a goal is a goal. 1-0 for Red Bull London!

The guests responded quickly, although without consequences for the hosts. In the 8th minute, Toxer set up the ball for a free kick, giving the ball a wonderful spin, but it only hit the crossbar.

The game was fierce, because in the 11th minute there was another set piece - this time for Red Bull London and it was not a free kick, but a penalty. However, Prezydent Gdyni made a great save and blocked Czekoladowa's shot! Legendy Jutra MU could wipe the sweat from their brow, because their goalkeeper saved them from a two-goal loss at the beginning of the match!

After this event, the game slowed down a bit. There was a lot of inaccuracy and fighting in the midfield. The guests tried to fight back in the 30th minute, but emerson1910's shot was too weak and did not surprise Mrs Darkness. A few minutes later, Prezydent Gdyni had to make another effort, stopping the hosts' strike again.

Nothing else worth mentioning happened until the end of the first half. During the break, there were changes in both teams. And the changes were as follows: in the home team, two weaker players were replaced by better ones, and in the visitors, a better one went in favour of a weaker one - I am of course talking about the total of PTS. What was the result?

Of course – the opposite of what logic dictates. Two goals were scored by emerson1910 and in the 70th minute the Legendy Jutra MU were in the lead, already having a 5-point advantage over their rivals in the table!

20 minutes until the final whistle, a moment which shocked the visiting players. Red Bull London exposed their deficiencies in marking during crosses. First, Crossfit made a good throw-in from the field, and his pass was finished by Paul Morphy, scoring his second goal. Then Dinco threw in from a corner kick, and Piotr Kiks, who entered the pitch after the break, shot accurately. BoomDeteco completed the work of destruction with a free kick.

And so from a pretty good situation, because that's how you have to call the result 2:1 in the 70th minute, the guests ended the match with a 4:2 defeat. Instead of a 5-point lead, they are 1 point behind in the table. In order to advance, they cannot afford any more slip-ups, because right behind Legendy Jutra MU are two more teams with losses of 1 and 2 points.

Red Bull London can look at the league table more calmly, because this victory has put them at the top, although of course this is not a situation that cannot be amended. How will the league end? Check which teams: Red Bull London, Legendy Jutra MU, FCK ROTOR and VIKOMP OST play in the Italian 1st League.

Star of the match: Paul Morphy. Deadly effective, as he made two goals from three shots – one shot after a corner kick was saved. He was active not only in front of the opponents' goal, but also in the pressing, winning the ball from the opponents several times and starting the attack of his team.

INTERVIEW WITH MILANINHO

60 times first place, 17 times second place, 11 times third place. I managed to have a conversation with the undisputed leader and star of match betting. I invite you to an interview with Milaninho!

PanEgo: Have you ever counted how much ahead you are thanks to your betting rewards? To what extent have these rewards influenced your character's development?

Milaninho: Indeed, there were a lot of prizes, but it is hard to count the value of all of them exactly, and their value has also changed over many seasons. These prizes have had a very strong influence on development, and of course hero stars, to be honest, my account level would be much weaker without them.

What is your way to always be at the top of the Bettor list?

Mainly experience, based rather on minimising risk. The specifics of this Bettor are significantly different from the previous one, I mean different odds. And what is also important, I usually do not check the classification on an ongoing basis.

I think that it does not help in further betting. Of course, when it is the weekend, it is necessary to know what the differences are, but in the first phase of the week I focus on my bets only.

How much time per day do you spend researching best matches to bet?

Despite what you may be thinking, it's not very time consuming (for me at least). You just have to check every half an hour if there's anything interesting. I used to look through matches in more detail, now I base it mainly on knowledge of the specifics of the engine, teams, over many seasons many of the same teams appear in Bettor. It was harder after the server merger, because there are many new teams from the East.

Do you remember the smallest difference in points that decided whether you were first or second?

Of course. Very often, it was literally even 0.01 point  that decided the place on the podium. Everyone has a better or worse week. Each new week is a fight from the beginning and everyone can stand out. If they play it skillfully and wisely, they have a chance to stay in the lead.

Do you have to look for high odds to win the Bettor? What were the highest odds you have managed to get?

It depends on what matches come up. If someone has an important match in the league, or another goal, such as tournaments, or lacks a good player, it happens that they have to go with a weaker team in the domestic cup.

Then it is worth looking for good opportunities. Very often I even bet on odds of 1.30. If there is nothing better to bet, then I do not bet just anything, I just stick to my assumptions.

Do you have/had a nemesis? Who was your toughest opponent in a betting duel?

As for the rivals, there are a few people who can be good at betting. Especially now after the merger of servers, players from the East are setting the bar very high.

What is your motivation to enter the betting competition again every Monday?

It's simply addictive. I've been playing bookmaker for many years, which is probably why I'm so addicted to it, and since I have time in the afternoon, I compete. As I've already mentioned, it helps a lot in development, huge amounts of golden balls or premium keys and other resources give the possibility of greater training in events.

Do you have an interesting bettor-related story you would like to share?

There were plenty of them, I'd love to tell you about a few.

My fun with betting generally started by accident. One day, on Monday, I logged into the game, and here was the message that I took third place in the bettor - to my surprise, because I didn't even know it and didn't follow it at the time, because I had the Premium Assistant sporadically.

This was my first medal I won. I often wait as long as possible to bet on a match, because in many situations someone changes the line-up to surprise the rivals just before the start. But it has its disadvantages, because in the case of lag you can miss the match. And once I lost a bettor like that right at the end, when my browser lagged.

There were also funny stories, like the one when I was shopping after coming back from work and it was time to bet on a match. While at the checkout, I kindly asked the cashier to be patient, that I had an important work message, and I was betting on matches! FootballTeam also sometimes has an influence on everyday life, and the bettor is addictive, but now it's a routine for me. If it doesn't work out, you can always fight in the next one.

THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW?

Hello everyone.

The international break due to the UEFA Nations League has come to an end and brought us many exciting matches in which some players presented themselves brilliantly.

I think many will agree with me that the brightest star was the Swedish national team striker Viktor Gyökeres. It is him I would like to talk about today.

What makes Gyökeres so good and why do top clubs dream of him?

Viktor Gyökeres is a striker who became the most effective player in the world in 2024, even overtaking Haaland. In the match against Azerbaijan, he scored four goals, increasing his tally in the Nations League to 9 goals and becoming the top scorer in the group stage.

Gyökeres leads the unofficial world goal scoring race in 2024. Last year, Ronaldo only needed 54 goals to win, while Gyökeres had 58 goals for now. His closest rivals, Kane and a Chinese league player, have 42 goals each.

Gyökeres is scoring an average of 1.3 goals per game, and if he keeps up that rate, he could end the year with 70 goals. In 2024/25, his stats look even more impressive: 32 goals and 8 assists in 24 games for club and country.

He could be called a sort of Haaland. He has great speed from both short and long range, a powerful physique and a killer instinct in the penalty area – almost every chance ends in a goal.

Gyökeres will be a tasty morsel for top clubs in the winter, so let's discuss his potential transfer destinations.

Which club should Gyökeres go to?

1/ Manchester United:

This is the most obvious option. The team has strikers, but none of them fit Amorim's style. It would be logical to sell or loan one of them and buy Gyökeres, who has developed under this coach. Amorim could provide him with all the conditions needed for further development.

This is an ideal solution for all three parties - the coach, the player and the club. The most important task is to sell one of the strikers to relieve the squad. The club has everything it needs to fight for Gyökeres. The only downside is that Manchester United cannot count on trophies or participation in the Champions League for now. However, this transfer could change everything.

Rating: 9/10

2/ Barcelona:

Barcelona are interested in Gyökeres, which is logical. Lewandowski is already 36 years old and his contract expires in a year. Despite Robert's progress under Flick, the club must think about the future, and Gyökeres is a great option if the board plans to continue working with Flick.

The problem, as always, is money, but Laporta knows how to deal with it. If Manchester United don't sign Gyökeres in the winter, Barcelona will certainly try to do so in the summer.

Rating: 8/10

3/ Liverpool:

Liverpool have Núñez, but he has problems with his efficiency, which prevents him from earning a place in the first team. It is also important that this season is the last on Salah's contract, and his future remains uncertain. If he leaves, the club will need a player capable of reaching 25+ key actions (goals + assists) per season. Gyökeres would be the perfect choice.

Rating: 8/10

4/ PSG:

With Mbappé gone, the team is left without a classic striker, with wingers Dembele and Barcola making the difference. In such an environment, and considering the level of the league, Gyökeres could not only maintain his efficiency, but also reach a new level, increasing PSG's chances in the Champions League.

PSG certainly have the financial means, and Gyökeres would be on par with Mbappé (with normal efficiency). The downside for Viktor is the low level of the league compared to the Premier League and La Liga.

Rating: 8/10

Summary: Two options come to mind straight away – Manchester United and PSG. Manchester United offers a convenient coach and the status of one of the most popular clubs in the world, while PSG offers a high salary and the possibility of maintaining high efficiency.

WHAT IS POWER, BORAT?
(A PUN REFERRING TO THE MOVIE BROTHER: "WHAT IS POWER, BROTHER?")

Good afternoon, dear readers of the sports journal!

Today, I’d like to take a closer look at the teams in the first leagues, focusing on their strengths - or rather, not the teams but the players. Let’s find out who’s carrying their teams to the places they hold or aspire to. Let’s start with the Polish league.

First, a quick note: since articles are submitted by Friday and the journal isn’t published until at least the following Wednesday (a minimum of six days), the standings and stats provided here reflect the date the article was written and may differ from the data at the time of publication.

Let’s get started!

16th–15th Places

Unfortunately for the bottom two teams, they won’t receive much attention here. Their rosters are fairly uniform and, frankly, quite weak. The players also don’t show much enthusiasm for the game (their progress is dismal). And singling out anyone as a standout who dragged their team to the last two places just doesn’t feel right.

14th Place

Monster II FC features a few interesting players in defence: Captain Tsubasa (3239 OVR) and Wowo71 (3642 OVR), along with an even more intriguing goalkeeper, El Brameiro (4667 OVR). The rest of the players are more or less at the level of the bottom two teams. However, even these standout players have a downside: they show almost no progress in training.

13th Place

In Black Team, three players stand out against the general backdrop. These are midfielders Edo1105 TT2 (3000 OVR) and Fideo (3384 OVR), as well as defender Byakugan EF (3781 OVR). Training here is slightly better, with some players reaching 50% progress outside of events.

12th Place

KKS Lech Poznań has a solid gap above the relegation zone, so logically, their players should be stronger. Let’s see if that’s true. Standouts here include defender Grito (3319 OVR), midfielder PafkaPT (3619 OVR), and, as the cherry on top, forward Tomasz K (4923 OVR). Without Tomasz K, the team wouldn’t be significantly different from the previous ones.

11th Place

In FC EAGLES, I’d highlight just two players: midfielder Mackikos (3415 OVR) and defensive midfielder Maverick (4390 OVR). The rest of the roster lags behind significantly, and they don’t seem stronger than KKS Lech Poznań. By the time the journal is published, they may switch places.

10th Place

Here we find the oldest Spartak on the server. However, this information applies to the RU server; the Polish server still needs verification. For all we know, some enthusiasts might hold this title there! Let’s spotlight the players who first surpassed 5000 OVR and even 6000 OVR: midfielders Seryoga But (5071 OVR) and Uma Palata (6799 OVR), as well as defender Nikolay Romanov (5116 OVR). These are some serious players!

9th Place

Let’s see if Plymouth Argyle has worthy leaders. There’s a standout trio: forward ysyŁ freN (5095 OVR), defender Paweł Wienconek (5597 OVR), and midfielder Mionel Lessi (5777 OVR). There’s no one above 6000 OVR here, and the red-and-white team looks stronger, so a swap in standings might be on the horizon.

8th Place

You might be tempted to call this team the oldest Rostov on the server, as they’ve been around forever! But for now, I’d highlight only two players: forwards Hero1980 (4775 OVR) and PEPS (5285 OVR). They seem to trail the previous two teams, with minimal point differences, so the exact standings of this trio remain uncertain.

7th Place

FC Sparta is just a step away from the European zone, with its own standout trio clearly ahead of their teammates: forward Inkognito (5320 OVR) and midfielders Zheka Babansky (5734 OVR) and Andrea Pirlo (5744 OVR).

6th Place

Opening the European competition zone is FC Inter Milan, thanks to its two leaders: midfielder Huracan (6633 OVR) and forward Plohis (6728 OVR). The gap from FC Sparta is minimal, promising a fierce competition.

5th Place

Engine Fault, not far from 6th place, raises the bar with its leading trio crossing the 7000 OVR threshold and even reaching 9000 OVR (and likely 10,000 OVR by the journal’s release): defender Ziaboleq EF (8219 OVR) and midfielders Natano FdL (9015 OVR) and XXX (9981 OVR). Overcoming such players will be extremely challenging.

4th Place

Let’s see if AK Elite Team can compete with Engine Fault. Two players, at least, won’t agree to lose that fight: defender Kolma (8849 OVR) and midfielder Kolmapuszi (10,224 OVR), the first to surpass 10,000 OVR. Looking at these two, I can’t help but recall a line from Forrest Gump:
“Are you two twins?”
“No, not even related!”

3rd Place

With each position, the players get stronger, making it a bit intimidating to look at the top three. Can Mazovia Mady break the OVR record? Their leaders are midfielder Thomasi (8976 OVR) and defender Deckard Shaw (9733 OVR). However, they seem slightly weaker than their competitors, especially AK Elite Team, as the top two places have pulled far ahead.

2nd Place

Wings sit almost alone in this position. Their leaders - defender Baboprun (7671 OVR), midfielder Undertaker (7827 OVR), and goalkeeper HeaDHunteR (7671 OVR) - looks modest without proper training.

1st Place

Let’s see who’s responsible for Novigrad’s undefeated streak this season. The key players are defender Alex X Goal (9380 OVR) and midfielders Scofff (9566 OVR) and V E R E S (9974 OVR). Notably, the team is well-balanced, with almost no weak spots and, most importantly, very active! Outside of events, 50% training across the team before their match against the 3rd-place team was the key to their success. Their competitors lack this drive, leaving them far behind.

So, we’ve analysed the Polish league and its key strengths - players and teams alike. That’s all for today; other leagues are up next!
