SCHALKE 04: TRADITION, TRIUMPHS, AND CHALLENGES OF THE GERMAN GIANT
Founded on May 4, 1904, FC Schalke 04 is one of Germany’s most iconic clubs, with a history marked by historic triumphs, dramatic downfalls and an unshakable bond with its passionate fans. Based in Gelsenkirchen, in the heart of the Ruhr region, the club carries the nickname “The Royal Blues” and a tradition rooted in the local working-class communities. The Blues' biggest rival is Borussia Dortmund.
Golden Age
Schalke began as a small community club but emerged as a powerhouse in German football by the 1930s. Under the leadership of legendary players such as Ernst Kuzorra and Fritz Szepan, the club won six German Championship titles between 1934 and 1942 and the 1937 German Cup. During this era, Schalke developed an innovative style of play, characterised by short, quick passes, which delighted fans and dominated opponents.
Decline
After the Second World War, Schalke 04 struggled to maintain their dominance. After the 1958 German title, the last before the creation of the Bundesliga in 1963, the club lost its shine in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
Revival and Contemporary Achievements
The turn of the 1990s brought new hope to Schalke. In 1997, the club won the UEFA Cup, beating the mighty Inter Milan in the final in a triumph that remains among the most memorable in its history. In the 2000s, Schalke also made a name for themselves on the national scene, winning the German Cup in 2001, 2002 and 2011. However, they have not won a Bundesliga title.
The Fanbase and Cultural Significance
Schalke 04 is much more than a football club for the residents of Gelsenkirchen and the Ruhr area. It represents the resilience, solidarity and identity of a community that grew up around the coal industry. The fans, known for their unwavering loyalty, fill the Veltins-Arena for every game, making it one of the most vibrant stadiums in Europe.
Recent Challenges
In recent years, Schalke has faced one of the most difficult periods in its history. In 2021, after a disastrous season, the club was relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, worsening an already-affecting financial crisis. However, as a symbol of resilience, the Royal Blues won promotion back to the top flight the following season and continued to fight for sporting and financial stability. In 2024/2025, it is in the 2. Bundesliga, struggling to rebuild, placed well below the qualifying zone to return to the elite.
Schalke in FootballTeam’s 4D League
FC Schalke 04 occupies 484th place in the club ranking, which has been playing in the Italian 4D League for a few seasons, and has been restructuring itself with the aim of having a good campaign in season 72, and perhaps winning promotion. The club's president is Dimitry Payet, and the coaching staff is made up of Batman1609 and Nico Neuer. The squad is still being formed, looking for new reinforcements to dream big in the near future.
The team is in second place after five rounds played, with five wins, 21 goals scored, and no goals conceded by the defense.
There are rumors that a great defender and a great defensive midfielder could be signed.
Individual statistics
Top scorer: Lucas Lima with 6 goals
Top assists: Lucas Lima with 3 assists
Clean sheets: Nico Neuer

BAVOVNA - FC BARS MATCH REPORT
The end of the calendar year was very... stressful for the BAVOVNA team? That's probably the right word. The exodus of top players (such as: Nymeria, Chimera, Francisco de Anconia and Sitting Bull) to the TERMINATOR club caused Bavovna to waver significantly. From a top team that could probably make it to the Super League, they have fallen somewhere in the depths of the third ten top clubs, and the situation is saved by Großvater, the undisputed star of BAVOVNA and the entire Italian league.
And this weakened BAVOVNA, although entering the match as the defending champion, took on last season's runner-up, FC Bars. Maybe not as spectacular, not with stars like Großvater, but well-balanced. In the 71 season, this would have been a clash that would decide the championship title, but now? In a new reality? Nevertheless, the magic of the club names attracted attention, so I took advantage of the opportunity and watched the match.
It was a match played in the 5th round of the Italian league. Up until that point, BAVOVNA had lost points to La Familia, where they had lost 0:6. FC Bars, on the other hand, were confidently leading with a full set of points.
The favorite was obvious - if La Familia "got rid of" BAVOVNA, what would a team from a slightly higher shelf do?
Well... already in the 4th minute, FC Bars had to start the action from the center of the pitch, because after a cross from a corner kick, Großvater turned out to be the most cunning in the goal area and BAVOVNA led 1:0!
Losing a goal particularly irritated the leader of the FC Bars offensive, Mr Panda. In the next action, he first lost the ball to Großvater, but quickly regained it, passed it to Тайпан, who in turn laid the ball out to Бергкамп, who equalized in the 12th minute.
This carelessness in controlling the ball must have really annoyed Großvater. He rarely makes such mistakes, but the scorer of the first goal in the match reacted quickly. A few minutes later, he picked the ball out in the middle of the field from F-Beckenbauer and distributed the action to Sasho.
He, without thinking much, passed to Senya Shelove and here the magic happened - cauldron, tight, and the BAVOVNA striker scored a goal anyway. The FB Bars goalkeeper, shouting at his defenders, couldn't change anything with it anyway - on the scoreboard a surprising 2:1 for BAVOVNA!
After conceding the second goal, FC Bars again wanted to respond quickly. Mr Panda, who was as well-stocked as a sausage, wanted to surprise the rivals' goalkeeper almost immediately after the restart, but his shot was off target. It's not like Uchiha Sai didn't have to do anything - he also contributed to the fact that BAVOVNA didn't concede any more goals until the break.
After the first half, two players should be singled out - it won't come as a surprise that they are the biggest stars of their teams. Großvater in BAVOVNA and Mr Panda in FC Bars are the players who were most involved in the action of their teams and they were the ones who decided how the game looked.
In the second half, however, Mr Panda had more to say. He received, passed, and finally - although very fortunately - managed to put the ball into the goal. It's hard to say whether it was a cross or a measured shot, but the word "center shot" was invented for such situations. And so Mr Panda equalized. 2:2 and just over 20 minutes to go!
The turning point may be the situation from the 75th minute. Senya Shelove – the scorer of the second goal for the hosts – made a mistake in a one-on-one situation with the FC Bars goalkeeper and the ball after his shot went past the left post. It was like a bucket of cold water poured over the heads of the visiting players. The favourites took the ball and gave it back only after they had scored the desired goal. The main role was played again by a corner kick: AlexStars threw it to Mr Panda, who scored his second goal of the match!
The forces regrouped again. The last few minutes were dominated by BAVOVNA, which FC Bars did not give in to, thanks to, among other things, the great interventions in defence by Alex Kidd. The match ultimately ended with a score of 2:3 and although the winner was rather expected, the course of the match certainly was not.
BAVOVNA is not a team that can be written off, because many great players have left. There are still players there who stand out above the league average, and as long as Großvater is the leader of the whole team, BAVOVNA will count – more or less.
FC Bars, on the other hand, can breathe a sigh of relief after a very difficult match. I think they will not make any more mistakes before the match with La Familia. They will certainly be motivated to finally reach for the desired title.
Star of the match: Mr Panda. It could not be otherwise, because he is the scorer of two goals and the author of the second-degree assist. He stamped his mark on almost every offensive action of his team, and the second half of this match is a learning material for adepts of attacking play.

ALL ABOUT EVERYTHING AND NOTHING: NEW YEAR WISHES AND YEAR-END SUMMARY 🎄
Oh, it’s been a while since I’ve appeared on the pages of our football journal; December has been an incredibly busy month.
But the New Year 2025 is just around the corner. Looking back, I can recall so many emotions experienced here—both positive and not so much—numerous acquaintances, and even some friendships formed.
In anticipation of the main celebration of the year, I’d like to summarize the year and hear the wishes of the players 🎄
I chatted with some well-known players from our RU server, whom I think everyone knows.
Let’s get started 😉
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What would you like to wish the FootballTeam players?
Фил Хит: Hi! I want to wish everyone good spirits, luck, and patience in all your endeavors. I hope 2025 will be fair and that it will be a year of good fortune.
Journalist: Can you share the results of your year?
Фил Хит: The year went well; we secured a couple of trophies and strengthened our squad. However, the start of 2025 might not be as great since players are tired of frequent updates.
Journalist: It’s been a while; what do you think about the merger—was it necessary?
Фил Хит: Yes, the guys integrated well into the team and became a great springboard for growth.
Journalist: And what about the global merger of servers?
Фил Хит: Only positive emotions! This should have been done back in Season 30. Although we’ve seen the world, we realized that almost the entire server was doing nothing.
Thank you, Captain Kreml 🎄 Now, let’s move on.
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What do you want to wish the FT players?
TaMaGo4u: In the New Year, I wish for more stability, kindness, happiness, warmth, peace, strong health, patience, ease, love, the fulfillment of wishes, limitless dreams, good events, success, joy, loved ones nearby, miracles, blessings, abundance, adventures, beauty, strength, and wisdom. May each day of the coming year be the most perfect, better than the last, and uncompromisingly excellent in every way. Happy New Year!)
Thank you, Captain Novigrad 🎄 Now we have the next well-known player, Innokentiy Shniperson, who I know hasn’t been with us for a while 😉
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What do you want to wish the FootballTeam players?
Шнип: I wish all FootballTeam players only good things!! Play for enjoyment, and don’t turn the game into a battlefield for settling relationships that are far from us mortals. And to the developers, I’d like to wish further DEVELOPMENT of the game, not just glitter with trinkets and bottles.
Thank you, Shnip 🎄 Let’s move on.
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What do you want to wish the FootballTeam players?
IceFlame: Hi Nika! I want to wish us all health in the New Year, achieving our goals for the year, and leaving all hardships in the past 🙏🏼
Journalist: Thank you! Can you summarize your team’s year?
IceFlame: Just for my team, we’ve come a long way this year; we merged with the guys from Milan, Matata, and SF, and we’re starting a new journey))) I don’t have time to keep track of other teams right now.
Journalist: Enough matches and seasons have been played; what do you think of the server merger?
IceFlame: I’d say it was a great idea, although it came three years late. Probably it should have been done at the start as one international server instead of splitting everyone up and then trying to gather in panic. In the end, we just gathered the same people, making them multi-accounts 😂
Thank you, Captain Inter 🎄 Now we have our next guest.
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What do you want to wish the FootballTeam players?
Жека Бабанский: Strong, united teams and achieving goals in the FootballTeam universe.
Journalist: Can you summarize your team’s year?
Zheka Babanskiy: After the server merger, competition in the top leagues is quite serious; before, we tried to fight for 1st place, but now being in the top 6 is a joy! There are many new players on the team, we’re building our coordination, and we’ll strive to compete for the top 3.
Journalist: What do you think about the merger? Was it worth it?
Жека Бабанский: The merger was necessary; many were becoming bored with the lack of real competition! However, it didn’t work out for many; many top clubs disbanded, and top players left the game.
Thank you, representative of Sparta 🎄 Of course, I had a chat with my colleague Daddy Don, also known as Marat.
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What do you want to wish the FootballTeam players?
Марат: Hi! I personally wish you a happy New Year. I wish you boundless happiness, the fulfillment of cherished dreams, wishes, and a positive mood 😉
To the players, I wish you to achieve your goals, win new trophies, and in real life, gather positive emotions!
Journalist: Thank you for the wishes; it’s nice ☺️ Can you share your team’s year-end results and your opinion on the server merger after the seasons played?
Марат: The most positive moment is that we managed to maintain our team and hold leading positions in the league. As for the merger, the number of active players increased significantly, and the level of the top leagues rose. But this diversity didn’t last long. After two seasons, people, having played enough, started leaving the game. I don’t see the development of the game as a manager or the creation of competitiveness for players. Now there’s a big focus on card development, which I consider a secondary task. The donation platform still hasn’t been chosen. Players from Russia have to pay 30% more in fees compared to their competitors from Poland. I hope equal conditions for all are created, along with a well-thought-out balance in the game.
Thank you, Marat 🎄 Now let’s move on to the more concise but familiar respondents.
Journalist: Hi, I’m writing an article with New Year wishes 🌟 What do you want to wish the FootballTeam players?
Hubert Farnsworth: Hi. I don’t even know. Since the last update, I’ve lost all motivation.
Of course, I couldn’t miss the chance to catch Zhenya (EvgAnt); I think all our RU players remember him.
Journalist: What would you like to say? 🎄
Zhenya: Don’t lose hope, believe in yourself, and hope that someday this game will actually become a football game.
Thank you to all participants in my article. It’s very nice that you found a moment to answer the questions! From myself, I wish everyone the fulfillment of their most cherished dreams, vibrant emotions, and that in the New Year, everything planned comes to fruition, goals are achieved, and all gestalts are closed! May each person remain human! Happy New Year! 🥂
P.S. Since this article will be published in 2025—Happy New Year, friends, readers, and indeed the entire FT community! 🎄🎇🍾

IN THE NEW YEAR'S FIRE OF QUESTIONS!
We have already entered the new year 2025, leaving behind many events of the previous 12 months. Our favorite game FootballTeam has also undergone many changes. New items have appeared, new bonuses hidden under the clothing set of our player.
In addition, at the very end of the year we got new, really strong drinks, which quite a bit stirred up the field, and beef between teams, which we managed to test last season. In connection with these changes, I am curious what your opinion is on this topic, what you think about the above changes and how you initially rate them. As you start the New Year, it must be started with an article with voting! I invite you to participate!
First of all, I would like to ask you about the general rate of what happened in the game in 2024, whether you managed to achieve any goals you set for yourself, win dream cups, complete sets and many other training challenges.
Make sure to justify your choices in the comments, so that your opinion can have a positive impact on the development of the game.
A large event was launched on the occasion of the Christmas time, which brought new additions in the form of drinks, club beef and training for up to 4 specialisations at once. I wonder what your opinion is on this topic.
Changes have also appeared in the card module, and we have been given the ability to upgrade slots, which as it turns out have quite a significant impact, especially in the context of playing cards. What is your opinion on this?
Make sure to justify your choice in the comments!
Along with the new year, a lot of new changes in the game have also been announced, both in tasks and games. What do you think this year will be like in FootballTeam, how do you view the announced novelties and what are your expectations for 2025, both individual and team?
Share your opinion, your thoughts in the comments. Also write what your goals are, what would you like to achieve, what overall thresholds would you like to reach during the next 12 months of clicking in your favorite browser game.
For my part, I would like to wish you a lot of health, peace and happiness, especially in your private life. And in the game, I wish you to get only the best drops from packages, win all the most important matches, and that your character will be at the very top of the ranking. May this year be truly positive on every level. Best regards and see you soon!

WHAT’S IN FOR THE 2025 FOOTBALL YEAR?
Africa Cup of Nations:
The traditionally held Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco this time. The hosts, who have one of the strongest teams on the continent, will be aiming for victory, with stars such as Achraf Hakimi and Sofiane Boufal in their line-up. Senegal, Egypt and Nigeria will also be favourites. The entire tournament will start at the end of December 2025 and end in January 2026.
CONMEBOL Copa América 2025:
South America is preparing for another great women's tournament, this time organised in Ecuador. With the rivalry between Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, we expect classic clashes full of emotions. Leo Messi's performances attracted particular attention, but the women's version of this tournament will certainly provide us with many impressions as well.
Euro 2026 Qualifiers:
2025 is also the decisive stage of the Euro 2026 qualifiers. Favourites such as France, England and Italy will be fighting to secure their place in the tournament, while smaller nations such as Wales and Finland will be looking to cause a surprise.
Club World Cup:
The expanded format of the tournament, scheduled for the summer of 2025, will bring together 32 of the best clubs from around the world. The tournament will be held in Saudi Arabia and will give giants such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, Juventus, PSG and Atletico a chance to win a global trophy.
Teams and Players Who Can Shine:
European Powerhouses:
In European football, fans will be looking to reassert their dominance after winning the Champions League in 2024. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli also have the potential to win trophies, with outstanding players and coaches in their squads. Having supported Manchester City for many years, I am curious about what they will present this year. Let's hope 2025 will be a better year for the Citizens than the end of 2024.
Rising Stars:
2025 could be a breakthrough year for young talents such as Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal and Endrick. Their development will be crucial for the club and national teams that rely on them.
National teams to watch out for:
Japan and South Korea: The Asian powerhouses are still developing, and their technical and tactical play is becoming increasingly competitive on the world stage.
Morocco: After reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, Morocco will want to prove that their success was no coincidence.
England: After years of close to great triumphs, Thomas Tuchel’s team may finally reach for the coveted trophy.
Summary:
The football year 2025 promises to be full of emotions, surprises and unforgettable moments. Both at club and national level, there are many events that could affect the future of football. Which teams and players will go down in history? The answers to this question will come in the coming months, which will certainly provide us with a lot of excitement.
