FOOTBALL QUIZ

👑 The winners of the latest issue are: (Classic)

100 Keys 🔑 Premium - Kyuzo

10,000 ⚡ Energy - Tony Dalton & Toxic Mateo

Hi! I'm back with another installment in the football quiz series. Of course, there will be prizes: 100 Premium Keys 🔑 for the first person to answer correctly and 10,000 ⚡ Energy for two randomly chosen people with the correct answer. The winners will be chosen on Thursday at 8 PM. Let's get started!

1/ Player Name and Surname:

On June 21, 1955, a player was born who for years symbolized French creativity and finesse in the game. His vision, precision passing, and ability to score from distance made him one of the greatest football stars of the 1980s.

He began his club career with AS Nancy in France, where he quickly established himself as a team leader. He then played for Saint-Étienne, with whom he won the French league title. However, his greatest successes came with Juventus in Italy. With the "Old Lady," he won the European Cup in 1985, the European Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup, as well as the Italian league title twice. He was a central figure in the team, controlling the tempo of the game and creating goalscoring opportunities from seemingly impossible positions.

On the international stage, he was a key player for the French national team. In 1984, he led his country to victory in the European Championship, scoring nine goals in five matches and becoming the tournament's top scorer. This was the first major success for the French national team in its history. His performances earned him the Ballon d'Or three times – in 1983, 1984, and 1985. He was considered one of the best midfielders of his generation.

After retiring from playing, he became involved in administrative roles at UEFA and FIFA. His playing career and subsequent work in football development made him a highly influential figure, although over the years, controversy surrounding football management at the highest level arose, including a suspension for suspected financial irregularities.

Q&A – GOLDEN BALL PROTOCOL AND SEPTEMBER MAJOR UPDATE ⚽

Hello everyone!

Another Q&A is behind us and I must admit that this time we received a lot of specific information. The highlight was, of course, the presentation of the Golden Ball Protocol, but the developers also presented a map of events, a preview of the September Major Update, and a list of planned changes.

Golden Ball Protocol

The changes to item upgrades generated the most excitement. Costs in the Golden Balls were significantly reduced, and some expenses were transferred to the Euros. This will finally make upgrading more accessible and less frustrating, especially at high levels.

In addition, there is the Enchanting Cup event, which allows you to benefit from huge cost reductions. Combined with the EUROPEAN LEGENDS card collection, upgrading can be reduced by up to 90% – something many players will undoubtedly take advantage of.

The changes also affected work – from now on, you can individually set the multiplier, and Season Pass holders receive additional boosts. This solution provides greater flexibility and allows players to better tailor the game to their own style.

The developers also revamped Fragments and Crystals of Success – the process has been simplified and accelerated, and the costs have been reduced. Furthermore, Success Balls will now work up to item level 50, increasing their importance in the game.

September Major Update

Another important part of this Q&A was the announcement of the second phase of club expansion. The game will feature new buildings, including the Radio Station, Television Station, Fan Shop, Marketing Agency, Museum, SPA, Science Center, Club Manufactory, Distillery, and Development Academy. Each of them has its own unique functions – some are responsible for income, others for regeneration, morale, and crafting. It's clear that the creators want club development to be even more extensive and provide real benefits for the entire community.

Na uwagę zasługuje też Manufaktura i Gorzelnia – to budynki, które pozwalają zarabiać klubom poprzez aktywność graczy, również spoza drużyny. To ciekawy krok w stronę większej interakcji i współpracy.

Developer's Corner and Plans

The section devoted to planned changes shows that work is going in various directions. There will be more football skills, new card collections, PvP competition in the card module, and player rankings based on match performance. QuestLine is also being added, which is intended to replace the tutorial and better introduce new players to the game. It's clear that the game will be developed both economically and purely from a sporting perspective.

Leaks Drop

Finally, news about the balance of exchanging items for Club Materials and the perk system has emerged. Item exchanges are finally expected to be more profitable, and a perk in the Science Center will allow for further cost reductions. The perk system itself seems interesting – it offers new possibilities, but at the same time requires strategic choices, because it is impossible to unlock everything.

My summary

This Q&A shows that the game is heading in the right direction.

Changes to item upgrades and the work system are a significant improvement that will certainly improve gameplay comfort. The Major Update looks promising – new buildings will add a fresh feel and make club development even more interesting and diverse.

There's no denying that much of what the developers are implementing is the result of player feedback. And that's a good thing, because this approach makes the game increasingly relevant to our community. Not everything can be assessed at once, but looking at the whole picture – FootballTeam is developing steadily and is getting better step by step.

I, as Kiero DS, am positive about these changes – I really like them and I think the game is developing in the right direction.

FROM PAST TO FUTURE: STATISTICS

Have you ever looked back and wondered how you performed in the previous season or what kind of statistics you achieved? Most of you would probably answer no, or those who won medals would check the gap between themselves and their rivals until the very last day. Some of us, like me, love details. That’s why I can’t help but wonder what it would be like if we had the chance to see the best performers in the leagues… For example, who was the top scorer in the Champions League, or who provided the most assists?

This isn’t only valid for cups—it applies to leagues as well. Players who constantly switch leagues might still earn individual and team awards for that season, but unlike loyal players, it won’t be easy for them to have their names recorded in league history.

🔝 How Much Do We Love Individual Statistics?

Since the first day I started playing, I’ve loved statistics—it feels good to see my name on the scoreboard. It might sound selfish, but do you think I’m wrong to feel this way? Until a few seasons ago, this was how I played the game and how I looked at teams. The players who scored or assisted were praised, and the rest were barely noticed. It felt like a team wasn’t made of 11 players, but only those who scored goals…

When I joined my current team, I realized this perspective had changed. Matches are won by all 11 players plus those who participated, and we lost games together. We discussed why we lost and what we could do differently. In this context, no one in the team feels unnecessary—everyone understands they are a part of this puzzle. As a result, the number of goals, assists, or tackles listed on any of our profiles doesn’t really matter. If the team wins, we win together.

To conclude, we might not reach a definite answer, but based on my experience so far, individual statistics aren’t as important. Being part of a team, acting together with your friends, increases both the enjoyment you get from the game and the time you spend playing.

This game offers an environment where 20 people can work together and enjoy themselves. I hope everyone finds the right team to be a part of…

Thank you all for reading. See you in the next series, and I wish you enjoyable games and a happy weekend!

WHAT HAPPENED TO TEAMTSUBASA

Hello, strategists, top scorers, and passionate hearts that beat to the rhythm of the Football Team Game! Is everything in order with the tactics, the virtual pitches, and, most importantly, with the emotions that only our pixelated universe can provide?

This week, our spotlights turn to a story that, for many, is an enigma to be deciphered; for others, a legend that has spanned seasons; and for us, a vibrant and, at times, nostalgic chapter, worthy of the most glorious annals of virtual football: the uncertain fate of TeamTsubasa. Are we witnessing the end of an era, the grand rebirth of a digital phoenix, or just a strategic pause to re-evaluate the map of victory? The future, as always, will hold the answers, but one thing is absolutely certain: this club's journey across the relentless fields of Football Team is a narrative filled with inexhaustible passion, categorical victories, and, of course, some epic challenges, worthy of being scripted into a great sports manga!

The Inspiration Behind the Legend: A Generational Cry

To contextualize our journey through bytes and pixels, it is crucial to remember that the name "Tsubasa" resonates like a goal cry in the hearts of entire generations of football lovers. Captain Tsubasa, affectionately nicknamed "Super Campeões" in Brazil and "Oliver y Benji" in Portugal, is the iconic manga series created and masterfully illustrated by Yoichi Takahashi, which captivated readers weekly in "Weekly Shōnen Jump" between 1981 and 1988. Its thrilling adventures, starring the brilliant Oliver Tsubasa (Tsubasa Ozora, in Japanese original), transcended borders, conquering the world and inspiring legions of fans in South America, Europe, and the Middle East. It was this unyielding passion for football, this incessant and almost utopian pursuit of perfection on the pitches, that served as a compass and source of inspiration for the creation of our beloved virtual team, instilling in it a combative and dreamy spirit.

From Cradle to Ascent: A Trajectory of Titles and Constant Overcoming

TeamTsubasa opened its digital eyes to the world of Football Team in the distant 10th season and, since then, has never looked back. It built a history of constant evolution, like a young talent maturing with every training session. With strategic changes in the squad, tactical adjustments, and impressive growth in competitions, the team climbed the divisions with the unbreakable determination of a true destined champion. It was not a meteoric ascent, but rather a brick-by-brick journey, paved with sweat, strategy, and the will to win.

Their journey towards the coveted elite was a true display of strength, sealed by titles in the lower divisions that demonstrated a remarkable capacity for adaptation to different challenges and an exemplary overcoming of every obstacle encountered:

Fourth Division:

  • Italian 4D League in Season 13.
  • English 4D League in Season 30.

Third Division:

  • Italian 3B League in Season 14.

English 3B League in Season 31.

Second Division:

  • Italian 2A League in Season 17.
  • Italian 2A League again in Season 25 (showing that the good Italian land suited them well!).
  • English 2A League in Season 32.

Each of these steps was conquered with the grit of those who knew where they wanted to go, transforming the "dream" into a successful "career plan."

Glory in the Elite and Continental Achievements: Mount Olympus Reached

In the Olympus of Football Team, where only the strongest and most astute survive, TeamTsubasa was not merely an extra applauding others; it was a protagonist, a true collector of trophies and glories! Collecting prestigious titles that marked its hegemony in different European scenarios:

First Division:

  • Spanish League in Seasons 57, 75, 76, 77, and 78. A true and unquestionable hegemony in Iberian lands, where the team seemed to have a treasure map for every championship!
  • English League in Season 61. The conquest of the Queen's land, a feat for very few, showing the team's versatility and adaptability to different playing styles.

The insatiable thirst for titles extended, with the brilliance of the Tsubasa star, to knockout tournaments and cups, where Team Tsubasa also left its indelible mark on history:

National Cups:

  • Spanish National Cup in Season 57 (a 'doblete' in Season 57, League and Cup, quite an achievement!).
  • English National Cup in Season 61 (another 'doblete', repeating the feat on British soil!).

European Tournament: A respectable triple championship, with titles in Seasons 47, 48, and 52! Dominating Europe three times is something few virtual clubs can boast, transforming them into living legends.

The team was also a frequent sight, a constant and always noticed presence, in several editions of the SuperLeague, the biggest stage of all in Football Team, where the greatest behemoths of the game gather. Although the ultimate SuperLeague title has eluded their grasp so far, their constant presence already demonstrated the quality and competitiveness of the squad. Nevertheless, their Spartan discipline in training was exemplary, a differential that made them frequently recognized as one of the best teams of the week, and finishing as winners in this ranking of excellence in Seasons 73 and 74. A recognition that valued hard work and constant dedication, even when the main trophy did not come.

The Present: Transition, Challenges, and a Future to Be Written

Currently, TeamTsubasa is undergoing a transition phase, a period of deep readjustments and reflections. With significant losses in its squad – which, in virtual football, is like losing key pieces on a chessboard – the team was temporarily prevented from competing until September 26, 2025 (yes, the team was still listed in the SuperLeague, a testament to its greatness). It is a time of reorganization, of tightening belts, and of planning the next steps for a triumphant return.

Under the presidency of the tireless RUDYFRYT, and without officially designated technical assistants for this arduous task, the team seeks to restructure itself, redefining its identity and its path. The great individual highlight that still shines like a beacon in the storm is the right midfielder Zmora, a born talent who promises to be the compass and driving force to guide the team in this new phase, a true "Oliver Tsubasa" in search of a new field of glory.

Statistics of a Legend That Never Dies (as of this article's writing):

  • Wins: 2,963

  • Draws: 330

  • Losses: 1,342

  • Goals Scored: 17,012 (a number that would make any scoreboard blink from so many goals!)

  • Goals Conceded: 7,266

These numbers are not just statistics; they are the soul of a team that played, fought, and enchanted, a legacy built with every victory, every draw, and, yes, every defeat, which served as a learning experience.

Your Voice, Our Story! Together in the Next Chapter!

And you, player? Have you had the honor and pleasure of being part of the Team Tsubasa squad, feeling the emotion of wearing that legendary jersey? Or perhaps you were a memorable opponent, who faced the fury and genius of this team on the pitches? Who knows, maybe you simply harbor a deep sympathy for this legendary trajectory full of twists and turns? Tell us your experiences, your most memorable moments, and your expectations for the future in the comments! The excitement is just beginning, and the quest for a new chapter of glory promises unforgettable plays, movie-worthy comebacks, and, of course, high-level football.

Big hug and see you next week, with more stories and emotions from the virtual pitches that make us dream.

CLASSIC SERVER + ROYAL SERVER = ?

Dear Readers!

I'd like to warmly welcome you to the first week of September! For most, not much has changed and it's probably just another day at work, but we certainly have players here who associate this month with... back to school. Is anything changing at FootballTeam? Not at the moment, but...

This is Andrzejek, of course, and I invite you, dear reader, to check out the next issue of Sports Journal, and in particular my article. Let's get started!

For a long time, a question has been nagging at me: what would happen if the merger of Classic and Royal occurred at this stage of the game? As you well know, the current situation on the classic server isn't great, and I'd even go so far as to say that it's only slightly better than the memorable US server (which was merged with the EU and Polish servers to create the legacy server).

In one of the news reports, we read about such plans from the administration, but to this day, there's been silence on the matter, and we don't know anything more. Does this mean that the editors shouldn't address this topic? Of course not! We're here to share our observations about the game, and in today's article, I'll explain my perspective on the topic and the standings on both servers.

We'll examine the overall standings of the top 5 players and top 5 teams, the standings of the Club Week Top (in conjunction with the Team Games) as of the time of writing, and the overall standings differences between the top 1-25.

CLASSIC SERVER:

Top 5 Players:

1. TOKSYCZNY MATEO 51486 OVR (has a TTT bonus)

2. Manek MT 49932 OVR

3. Strogast 49616 OVR

4. Hulk KST 49275 OVR

5. Kazu 44642 OVR

Top 5 Teams:

1. More7Black 43484 OVR

2. Titans 20077 OVR

3. FC KREMATORIUM 12213 OVR

4. Tatra Lublin 12285 OVR

5. Izba Wytrzeźwień 8590 OVR

Top Clubs of the Week:

1. More7Black 24,703,810

2. Titans 18,858,355

3. FC KREMATORIUM 17,928,633

ROYAL SERVER:

Top 5 Players:

1. DarQM 48923 OVR

2. Last Defender 32607 OVR

3. Incogutto 32457 OVR

4. Q l a w y 27695 OVR

5. Rikitiki 26959 OVR

Top 5 Teams:

1. STARA GWARDIA 21491 OVR

2. Cosa Nostra 17824 OVR

3. Fortaleza Vinchies 13138 OVR

4. GRANDA 7243 OVR

5. Drużyna Bez Dopingu 5127 OVR

Top Clubs of the Week:

1. Fortaleza Vinchies 36746546

2. STARA GWARDIA 30579656

3. Cosa Nostra 28 188 475

Despite the significant difference in the two servers' starting positions, in my opinion, the latter isn't doing too badly overall, and a merge in 2-3 seasons would definitely be a good idea. Why? Players on the Royal server can use 4 of the 7 available slots in the game and train 4 specializations 24/7, regardless of whether an event is in progress, unlike on the Classic server.

The competition for the Top Club Week games on the Royal server is so intense that it's only a matter of time before the levels on these servers even out enough to erase the current advantage of the top teams. Currently, the top-ranked team on the Royal server, if the server merge were to occur now, would be in second place overall.

Let's also examine the differences between players in places 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25

CLASSIC SERVER:

1. TOKSYCZNY MATEO 51486 OVR

5. Kazu 44642 OVR (6844 OVR difference)

10. tORISHOU 37348 OVR (7294 OVR difference)

15. Andrzejek 29330 OVR (8018 OVR difference)

20. Kuosik 24758 OVR (4572 OVR difference)

25. Meilleur Buteur 21940 OVR (2818 OVR difference)

ROYAL SERVER:

1. DarQM 48923 OVR

5. Rikitiki 26959 OVR (21964 OVR difference)

10. Edobezkredo 20101 OVR (6858 OVR difference)

15. Mati W 15335 OVR (4766 OVR difference)

20. tomek1354 14278 OVR (1057 OVR difference)

25. Damiax2201 13038 OVR (1240 OVR difference)

As you can see, on the Royal server, the biggest difference is between first and second place, and from there, the situation becomes more or less equal. If we compare the two servers, in my opinion, it doesn't look that bad at all, and the merge is closer than we think.

That's all for today's article. Thank you very much for reading my article, and I encourage you to leave a comment below, especially if you're interested in this topic.

With footballing greetings,

Andrzejek

REBIRTH OF BELLA CIAO!

Bella Ciao (Royal Server): A phoenix rises from the ashes in the world of Football Team:

In the dynamic world of Football Team, where club fortunes can be fleeting and yesterday's champions can become today's losers, the story of Bella Ciao is more than just a story of sporting success – it's a true saga of rebirth. After a difficult period that many virtual experts considered the club's decline, Bella Ciao returned to the top with strength and determination, inspiring admiration from allies and fear from rivals. Their presence is proof that true strength lies in the will to fight, trust in the team, and strategic vision.

The Foundations of Power: Management and Fan Support:

The club, whose emblem is adorned with the famous mask from the TV series "Money Heist," is led with iron determination by its charismatic owner, Luna. It is her vision and strategic approach, supported by trusted assistants Iñigo Martínez and Szary Pielgrzym 12, that have allowed them to accumulate impressive financial resources.

With a budget exceeding €934 million, Bella Ciao has ample capital for further development. This sum is not only a guarantee of stability but, above all, the key to acquiring top talent, investing in infrastructure, and providing players with the best training conditions. It is also the strength that allows them to bid for top players on the transfer market.

The club, however, is not just about finances. Its driving force is the loyalty and enthusiasm of its over 25,005 fans. They create a unique atmosphere in the virtual stands, encouraging the players in key moments and motivating them to fight. This strong bond between team and fans is a priceless asset that money can't buy. Every victory is celebrated with redoubled energy, and defeats are treated as lessons that only cement mutual trust and the belief in a return to the top.

Strategy and Strength on the Pitch: The Heart and Soul of the Team:

Offensively, Bella Ciao has opted for a spectacular and effective tactic. The 3-4-2-1 formation reflects a philosophy that emphasizes creativity and dominance on the pitch. The attacking three are responsible for causing fear among opponents: OctoBeer at the forefront, followed closely by the powerful duo of Luna and Zalewskyy. They are the driving force behind every attack. Their skills are decisive in many matches, and their precise shots and dynamic runs allow for key goals.

Support in the second line is provided by a solid midfield trio: Lukarty, Iñigo Martínez, Acav, and Ar Margines FF, who work the length of the pitch, creating plays and securing the defense. Their presence is crucial for maintaining the flow of play and controlling the midfield. The last bastion, the defense, is composed of three stalwarts: Szary Pielgrzym 12, Tobsón, and GoodDaddyForYourMommy.

Their job is to stop every opponent's attack, which they successfully accomplish by protecting their goalkeeper, DaVoS. His reflexes and confidence in goal are the last line of defense, often able to save the team from the most difficult situations.

Investing in the Future: The Path to the Top:

The path to the top is a process, and Bella Ciao knows how to navigate it. The team consists of 20 players, which demonstrates the depth of the squad and allows for rotation and freshness. Each player brings something unique to the team, and working together in training and matches builds a cohesive team capable of defeating any opponent. The club's expansion, which stands at 65/139, demonstrates that the management isn't resting on its laurels and is constantly striving to develop its infrastructure, which will translate into even better results in the future. New training facilities, improved pitches, and modern medical facilities are investments that will allow the players to fully utilize their potential.

The current 8th place in the rankings is a clear signal that the club is well on its way to returning to the elite. Bella Ciao is back stronger than ever, and their determination, powerful squad, and loyal fans are a combination that could soon make them true hegemons in the world of Football Team. What will happen next for this team? Rivals should be on their guard, as Bella Ciao shows no signs of stopping, and their ascent to the top is only just beginning.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FOURTH WEEK MATCHES FROM SEASON 79 (LEGACY)

Hey! Kyrunio here, today we'll be taking a look at the most interesting matches from Week 4 of Season 79. So let's get down to business.

We're starting off with a bang, as the first match I'll be focusing on today is the top-tier clash between Jokers Gambit and Public Enemies, which took place on Wednesday, August 27th at 8:00 PM CET as part of the Tournament of Champions.

The match started very quickly; in the 5th minute, Belisimmo managed to pass the ball to Kindredo, who was able to finish perfectly and open the scoring!

Less than 15 minutes later, the visitors took the initiative, Krystian Salach found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but instead of shooting from a tight angle, he spotted Chazz Palminteri running into the penalty area, who leveled the score without hesitation.

The home side responded very quickly. Belisimmo played a well-placed ball into the path of El BOBrito Gangsterito, who found space in front of him and slotted the ball into the net with a long corner!

The teams were neck and neck. In the 36th minute, Ethereal crossed the ball into the penalty area, where Chazz Palminteri was, scoring his second goal of the match with a header!

After the first 45 minutes, the score was 2-2. Four minutes into the second half, Devast crossed the ball into the penalty area, where Chazz Palminteri was, completing his hat-trick!

In the 59th minute, the visiting team had a corner kick. Karondor stepped up to take it and crossed into the penalty area. There was none other than Chazz Palminteri, who showed his dominance in this match, scoring his fourth goal!

Moments later, Belissimo spotted Rob727 1208, who, after receiving the ball, took advantage of his scoring opportunity! It was a goal.

Just a few minutes later, Rob727 1208 stepped up to take a free kick that could have been the deciding factor, carving a small hole in the turf with his boot and curling the ball so much that it fooled the goalkeeper!

The match ended in a spectacular 4-4 draw! What a spectacle!

The second match I'll be describing today is a clash between two teams on very similar levels. KS Koniecpol Górnik hosted FC Pamir at their home stadium on Thursday, August 28th at 12:00 PM in the Russian National Cup final.

The visitors started the match with a bang. In the 7th minute, beLIEve crossed the ball into the penalty area for Hero1980, who slotted the ball into the net.

The home side couldn't keep their heads down. In the 14th minute, Oscaro Tureck played a brilliant ball to Mat Be, who gave the goalkeeper no chance with a shot from the edge of the penalty area!

The game remained calm until the end of the first half, with the score at 1-1.
