MAJOR UPDATE: EXPLORE THE 2ND PHASE OF CLUB EXTENSION!

29-09-2025

HEY FOOTBALLERS!

Another Major Update is here, bringing a whole new level of quality to FootballTeam! ⚽

This time, we’re taking club management to an entirely new level – innovative options for expanding club facilities are arriving in our football world, something many of you have been waiting for.

On top of that, a powerful perk system is coming, offering plenty of development paths while also forcing you to make tough tactical choices. The new strategy system will let every club choose its own path and unique playstyle.

And this is just the beginning – you’ll also find special event bundles and numerous event bonuses available starting today at 18:00 UTC+2 until October 19 – along with a whole range of updates that won’t just make the game more exciting, but will also significantly expand gameplay.

CLUB EXTENSION PHASE II

Let’s start by taking a closer look at all the new features and updates related to Club Extension. In this section, you’ll learn which new buildings are being added to the game, what possibilities and functions they bring, and what changes we’ve made to existing facilities.

Thanks to this update, managing your club will become even more strategic and give you greater freedom in shaping your team. Each building introduces new development options, and using them wisely can have a real impact on your club’s success – both on and off the pitch.

Generating income through building extension

Your club generates income from four independent sources:

  • Ticket Sales

  • Marketing Agency (via extending specific buildings)

  • Hotel Stays

  • Fan Shop

Each of these operates separately, but together they build your club’s stable finances.

Ticket sales and generating fan interest

The ticket sales system calculates revenue based on tickets sold, with profits shared between both clubs. The amount you earn depends on whether you’re playing at home or away.

When playing at your home stadium, you receive 65% of ticket revenue.

When playing at your opponent’s ground, your club’s budget receives 35% of ticket revenue.

In addition, every league has its own level of fan interest – this determines what percentage of fans will show up to watch a match. The more prestigious the game, the bigger the attendance. Each match also has its own ticket price, depending on the league or tournament it belongs to.

Club income also depends on the stadium itself – the bigger the venue, the more fans it can hold, which means higher profits.

💡 Upcoming updates will introduce the possibility to upgrade buildings to even higher levels – soon, clubs will be able to extend their stadiums beyond level 25!

Ticket profits also depend on bonuses from other buildings – Security and Parking – as well as perks from the Science Centre. This means even more development opportunities and even higher revenues for your club!

Marketing Agency – shapes club’s image

Good advertising is the key to success! The Marketing Agency is responsible for building your club’s image, increasing its reach, and unlocking new development opportunities – both on and off the pitch. Thanks to it, you can generate additional profit from every fan who comes to the stadium.

The Agency can be extended up to level 15, with each stage unlocking new options and bonuses.

By investing in the Agency, your club gains both financial and marketing advantages, which directly translate into better results in the FootballTeam world.

Hotel Stay

The club hotel is more than just accommodation – it’s part of the entire football atmosphere. Fans who travel to watch a match live often choose to stay longer in the area, which brings in extra income for the club. The price of a stay depends on the prestige of the match – the more important the game, the higher the service value and the greater the profits.

Profit distribution:

  • Home match – the club receives 65% of hotel income

  • Away match – the club receives 35% of hotel income

Extending the hotel not only allows your club to host more fans but also unlocks new perks in the Science Centre, further boosting income.

Green Areas – a luxurious addition

Hotel development can be enhanced with Green Areas – a special addition that:

  • increases hotel stay prices,

  • unlocks additional perks in the Science Centre (Health Resort), making the investment even more profitable.

💡With this solution, your hotel becomes not only a resting place for fans but also a powerful source of income for the club.

Fan Shop – a powerful source of club income

The Fan Shop is one of the most important and most stable sources of club revenue. This is where fans buy jerseys, scarves, and gadgets, giving you tangible financial support.

How does the Fan Shop work?

  • All shop profits are calculated once per day.

  • Settlement happens regardless of the number of matches played – even if your club hasn’t played, the shop still records sales.

  • All income goes directly to the club – unlike ticket sales and hotel stays, there’s no profit-sharing here.

By extending the Fan Shop, you’ll unlock new perks:

  • Club Merch

  • Jerseys & Scarves

  • Ultras Gear

  • Online Store

  • We’re Everywhere

  • Global Football Business

Example: At level 3, the shop’s reach is 15%. If your club has 100,000 fans, daily sales will reach up to 15% of them – that’s 15,000 people – generating additional daily income for the club, regardless of ticket sales.

Two key factors determine final profits:

  1. Fan Cart – the bigger it is, the more each fan spends.

  2. Shop Reach – the wider it is, the more fans buy products.

Fan Cart – fans’ daily purchases

One of the foundations of the Fan Shop is the Fan Cart, which represents the amount each fan spends daily in the shop.

The base cart value is €150, meaning that’s the minimum amount each fan spends per day.

The value of the basket increases through three perks from the Science Academy (SA):

  1. Club Merch

  2. Jerseys and Scarves

  3. Ultras Gear

Each of these perks boosts the average purchase value, and a fully upgraded system can raise the basket value up to €1,000.

💡The bigger the basket, the higher the revenue – and when combined with wide shop reach, the Fan Shop can turn into a true gold mine for your club.

Fan Shop Reach – how it works

The reach represents the percentage of club fans who shop daily.

How is reach calculated?

  • Fan Shop Reach – up to 90%

  • TV Station Reach – up to 90%

  • Radio Station Reach – up to 60%

Together, that’s a total of 240% reach.

What does reach mean in practice?

  • Example 1: 240% reach → with 100,000 fans, the shop reaches 240,000 daily.

  • Example 2: 20% reach → with 100,000 fans, only 20,000 make purchases daily.

Perks from the Science Academy

Reach is also boosted by perks from the Science Academy. The maximum bonus from these perks is +360%, which, when combined with buildings, results in a maximum reach of 600%!

💡This means that with 100,000 fans, your Fan Shop could reach as many as 600,000 fans daily!

Training Field – the foundation of Team Training

Training Field directly affects Team Training and is a key element in team development.

  • Pitch levels increase the number of Team Trainings (TT) that players can perform.

  • A club without any upgrades has 40 TT – the base, guaranteed number.

Thanks to perks, Team Training can become even more impactful, because in addition to extra trainings, it also allows players to:

  • Restore Energy,

  • regenerate Health,

  • Increase the TT number.

Accounting – club’s financial centre

Accounting is responsible for all player contracts and financial management. It’s where players receive their salaries, and the club controls cash flow. It acts as a passive income source, generating funds daily for the club.

  • The club budget mainly comes from ticket sales and hotel income.

  • The level of Accounting determines the maximum amount of Euro the club can hold.

  • Club management can convert earned Club Euro into Construction Euro, which are used for infrastructure investments.

  • Starting at level 6, a certain percentage of a player’s contract value returns to the club as Construction Euro (the player’s contract is not reduced).

Perks can provide bonuses such as reduced construction costs in Euro, Golden Balls, or Crystals, as well as Increased Euro income from Work.

Warehouse – the club’s resource hub

The Warehouse is a strategic building where the club stores all resources needed for infrastructure development. Materials can come from players or be purchased with Team Points.

How the Warehouse Works

Players can deposit their own resources into the warehouse and also earn Team Points by completing Daily Calendar Challenges.

As the warehouse is extended, the owner can exchange Team Points for specific resources and unlock numerous bonuses and perks.

Extending the warehouse not only allows the club to store more resources, but also to optimize spending on materials thanks to Team Point cost reductions.

  • Example: Materials that normally cost 25 TP can cost 24 TP at warehouse level 13 and 23 TP at level 15.

  • Additional perks from the Science Centre can further reduce costs by up to 5 TP, significantly lowering extension and material purchase costs.

  • Perks also allow clubs to reduce building costs in materials, enabling more efficient growth and saving valuable resources.

  • Another benefit from perks is the increased number of materials gained from selling items, which helps replenish resources faster and invest more in club development.

  • If the goal is to increase Team Points from Calendar challenges or reduce TP costs when exchanging for Club Materials, the following perks are especially useful:

  • Time is money! Another warehouse-related perk is Can’t Get Any Faster, allowing the club to upgrade infrastructure more efficiently.

Club Building – the club’s resource hub

The Club Building serves two key functions in the club and is the foundation of resource management and team development:

  • Levels 1–5: affect the number of players in the club (up to 20).
Levels 6–10: determine the number of Team Points added to the warehouse.

Perks from the Club Building can also grant additional Energy, since they allow more frequent use of the Cafeteria.

Museum – the pantheon of club legends

The Museum commemorates the club’s greatest moments – unforgettable goals, legendary players, and key historical events.

Higher museum levels increase player morale, which translates into additional Hero Stars, strengthening the team on the field.

SPA – player regeneration center

After training and matches, players need proper regeneration. SPA allows players to recover Health and Fitness faster, keeping your squad ready for action.

SPA Extension

  • The building can be upgraded to level 10.
Level 8: unlocks the perk Regenerat lvl 1, increasing the chance to regenerate 2% Health to 20%.
Level 10: unlocks the perk Regenerat lvl 2, increasing the chance to regenerate 2% Health to 33%.

As the SPA building is extended, the Energy cost for regeneration decreases, improving the efficiency of recovery.

  • Players can use the SPA 3 times per day.

  • Each additional use doubles the Energy cost, requiring strategic planning of regeneration sessions.

Growth Academy – the birthplace of new talent

The Academy is a special building that can be constructed once the club reaches the required level. It is a separate section of the club, where new players can develop their skills.

How the Academy Works

The club earns Club Points for each player reaching certain thresholds in trained skills. Once a player reaches 125 OVR, they automatically leave the Academy.

A player can remain in the Academy for a maximum of 30 days. After this period, the player leaves and cannot join any other Academy.

The number of members and points earned for reaching milestones depend on the Academy’s level. Starting level allows 15 players.

Higher Academy levels increase visibility in the list of recommended clubs for new players, making it easier to attract talent.

Three matches between academies take place daily at 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00. These matches do not generate revenue and are purely for player development and experience gain.

Academy players are listed as free agents, and standard invitations can be sent to them.

The Academy has no extension tab or club tasks – it focuses solely on training young talent. Base-value Team Training still applies, allowing skill development.

Player stats from the Academy count toward sparring/career progression.

Club Manufacturing – new crafting possibilities

As your club grows, upgrading the Club Manufacturing building unlocks new opportunities to craft and upgrade items. It also serves as an additional source of team income.

How Club Manufacturing Works

  1. Unlocking items: To craft or upgrade specific items, the club must reach the required building extension level.

    • Example: Green Ball requires level 70, while upgrading it to Epic level requires level 85.

Both club players and external players can use the Club Manufacturing. Every Club Manufacturing is automatically added to the global list of manufacturing facilities where items can be crafted.

Crafting Costs

Using another club’s manufacturing increases the Euro cost by up to 3x (an additional 2x). This fee applies even if the crafting attempt fails.

50% of the extra cost goes to the club whose facility was used and is distributed evenly among 20 players (even if the club has fewer than 20 players). The remaining 50% is a tax. For every craft attempt (successful or not), the club pays players a Euro fee according to a special payout table.

Manufacturing Limits

Club members can craft and upgrade items without restrictions. External players face specific crafting limits. Details are available in the table below.

Distillery – cheers!

Distillery – the building everyone’s been waiting for… especially Byk z Pampeluny! 🥂

The Distillery is a unique place where players can craft drinks for personal use. Just like the Club Manufacturing, external players can also use its services by paying the required fee.

This allows the club to support its own members while also earning income from outside players.

Drink crafting costs

Using another club’s Distillery adds a +200% fee to the base cost (i.e., base price × 3).

Example: A Tier I drink costs 600,000 Euro in your own club. In another club’s Distillery, the same drink costs 1.8 million Euro, broken down as:

  • Base cost: 600,000 Euro

  • Extra fee: 1,200,000 Euro, split evenly – 50% tax and 50% for the club hosting the Distillery

  • The extra fee applies even if the crafting attempt fails.

Drink crafting limits

  • Club members can craft unlimited drinks.

  • External players face seasonal limits, depending on the drink tier.

Science Centre

In the Science Centre, you earn Science Points that can be used to unlock active and passive skills for the entire club.

Each level of the Science Centre grants a specific number of Science Points. The building can be extended to level 60. At level 1, you already receive 1 Science Point, which can be used for further club extension.

Perk Tree

The Perk Tree is where you develop your club and unlock perks that support your team. It consists of 15 tiers – the higher the tier, the stronger the perks, but also the higher the cost.

At each tier, you can only select a limited number of perks, so strategy and careful planning are crucial.

How the Perk Tree Works

  • There are 15 tiers of perks.

  • To unlock a tier, you must spend a certain number of Science Points (SP) across all previous tiers combined. Example: To unlock tier 15, you first need to invest 140 SP in the preceding tiers. Only then can you spend the additional 15 SP to unlock the final perk in that tier.

  • Each tier allows you to unlock a limited number of perks. If the limit is 5, you can only activate and upgrade 5 perks from the available pool; the rest will be grayed out and unavailable.

  • Unlocking a perk and upgrading it to higher levels costs Science Points. Example: A perk with 3 levels, costing 1 SP per level, will require a total of 3 SP to max out.

Types of Perks

  • Active – Provide additional bonuses to the club and its players. Only a limited number of perks can be unlocked per tier, so selecting perks that match your strategy and team needs is key. After unlocking, the club owner or assistants must activate the perk using Club Points. Once activated, the perk remains active until the end of the season, granting the selected effect.

  • Passive – Take effect immediately upon unlocking.

Science Points (SP)

  • Used Science Points can be reset and reassigned. Cost = 50 Team Points for each spent Science Point).

  • Examples: 10 SP spent → reset costs 500 Team Points. 1 SP spent → 50 Team Points. 100 SP spent → 5000 Team Points.

Resetting removes all currently unlocked bonuses, both from active and passive perks. All bonuses are disabled, and the perk board is cleared.
