A Year Full of Action: Discover FootballTeam’s 2024 Highlights

HEY FOOTBALLERS!

The year 2024 was packed with excitement, changes, and fresh content in the world of FootballTeam. Each month brought new challenges, updates, and events that spiced up the gameplay and strengthened the community as a whole. It was a time of intense growth, major updates, and action-packed events that left a lasting impression.

This recap is a chance to revisit all the key moments, updates, and events that shaped FootballTeam throughout 2024.

TRAINING

Introduced "Top Teams of the Week": A fresh competitive mode where teams battle it out for glory! The module includes brand-new club bonuses (33%, 7%, and 5%) and an exclusive Team Pack, which might contain a unique item: An Undershirt with a base value of 1650 (which was later changed to a platinum tier with a base of 250 UM).

Reduced auto-training costs: The cost for your first automatic training session has been slashed. A new bonus now cuts Euro-based training expenses by up to 80%!

Rebalanced training specialities: Unlocking basic training specialities now comes with proportional Booster and Energy costs, scaling with your skill development levels.

Daily training costs adjusted: For over 7,100 training sessions per day, the cost per session now stands at 32 Energy.

Adjusted thresholds for training costs and bonuses: For example, the 32 Energy per session cost now only kicks in after 14,201 sessions, instead of the previous 7,101.

Training cost reductions at the Training Centre: Similar to basic training, Euro costs have been reduced here as well, except for the first session, which retains the 80% discount. Use the Pennywise Drink to make training even more affordable!

 

TEAM TRAINING

✅ Training a skill beyond its unlocked level now unlocks the speciality for free.

✅ Depending on the Training Field level, Team Training regenerates between 25 and 1200 Energy. Plus, using the "Training Amount 2x" option will double your Energy regeneration.

✅ A new dynamic counter displays bonuses based on the number of players participating in training sessions.

✅ The bonus for the Training Field has been significantly increased! At the maximum level, it now provides 40 +350, up from 40 +175. Bonuses of 120% (for 20 players present) and 150% (via Team Training Drink V) remain unchanged, as does the 2x multiplier, which continues to enhance the base training as before.

 

CARDS

✅ A maximum of two card slots can now be unlocked.

✅ With the growth of existing collections and the introduction of new ones, two additional slots have been added.

✅ Added the possibility to enchant card slots.

✅ Earnings from card sales now vary based on their enchantment level, with adjustments also made to rewards and bonuses in select card collections.

✅ Card Packs have been split into two distinct types:

  • Card Pack: Now featuring 84 new FootballTeam Legend cards added to its lineup.

  • Golden Card Pack: Exclusively containing the 84 new FootballTeam Legend cards.

 

DUELS

✅ Playing at least 150 ranked matches during a season lets you earn exciting rewards like 3 Legendary Cards, 5 Epic Cards, or 10 Card Packs.

✅ The Top of the Week feature is now replaced by seasonal competitions. To earn better rewards at the season's end, you’ll need to play at least 250 ranked matches.

You can now view your match history directly from your profile.

✅ Once you join the match queue, you can no longer change your deck.

✅ A maximum of 50 unused ranked matches can be carried over to the next day for continued use in the season.

✅ Cards placed in a slot can now be added directly to your duel deck.

✅ You can now use the same card in multiple match decks.

 

MANUFACTURING

✅ Fragments added as a one-time cost for item crafting.

✅ Reduced costs for crafting Triumph and Success Fragments.

✅ Added the ability to craft three drinks: Cooperation, Speciality, and Anabolic.

✅ Introduced the possibility to enchant the Platinum Undershirt to higher tiers: Diamond – base 475 OVR; Historic MID – 905 OVR; Historical TOP – base 1650 OVR.

✅ Removed the attempt limit for crafting rare Balls, Wristbands, and Shin Pads at increased chances.

✅ Removed the attempt limit for crafting all drinks.

✅ Added a preview of items to be crafted, including details regarding additional bonuses.

✅ Decreased costs for crafting Crystals of Success.

✅ Crafting items now requires an appropriate extension level of club buildings.

 

NEW ITEMS AND POSSIBILITIES

Drinks: Three new drinks added: Anabolic (increases item power), Speciality (reduces specialization unlock costs), and Cooperation (increases chemistry by 1%).

Team Pack and Undershirt: a new pack that may include an Undershirt having a historical TOP tier with a base value of 1650 (later changed to a platinum tier with a base of 250 UM).

Underwear: A new reward for Top Trainings of the Week. The Platinum item adds 250 OVR (base) and can be enchanted to Historical TOP tier.

Skins: The first-ever animated skin introduced in the game.

Younger Pack: A new pack featuring legendary rewards, Golden Balls, and Energy.

Beefs: Added the option to declare an official beef with a club from the same league for one season. This allows maximum engagement in matches against this team without losing health. A new 20% bonus to trained OVR for the entire club is active during matches against the rival club.

New Formations: Introduced 3-4-1-2 and 3-2-4-1.

Season Pass: A new feature replacing the Subscription. The SP provides additional rewards for the season, such as x12 Energy regeneration, access to Premium Packs in the Shop, and other benefits. It also unlocks a second reward line in the Calendar.

Special Collections: A new module with highly attractive rewards. Items placed in collections must be unlocked (padlock-free).

Energetic Pack: Opening Energetic Packs no longer requires a key.



REWARDS UPDATE

Calendar: Expanded rewards for completing 30 days in the Calendar, including Golden Cards and additional training opportunities.

Calendar: Increased Energy rewards in the 7-, 14-, and 21-day draws. SuperLeague items have been removed and replaced with a 200% XP boost, random Golden Cards, and up to 100,000 Golden Balls as rewards.

Medal Rewards: Updated individual achievement rewards for players in SuperLeague and 1st League.

Special Collections: Introduced a new module with highly attractive rewards. Items placed in collections must be unlocked (no lock).

Boosters: Players exchanging booster sets now have a chance to receive additional rewards, such as time-limited bonuses.

Boosters: Exchanging a booster set grants an additional reward of 250 Energy per exchange. This reward is doubled when using the "Reward x2" option for Credits.

Special Collections: Energy rewards in Special Collections have been significantly increased.

Champions Tournament: Energy rewards for advancing in the Champions Tournament have been greatly increased.

  • Finalist teams now receive 50,000 Energy (previously 11,000, combined).

  • The winning team receives 30,000 Energy (previously 15,000).

  • Group stage qualification: 5,000 Energy (previously 2,000).

  • Quarterfinal qualification: 10,000 Energy (previously 2,000).

  • Semifinal qualification: 15,000 Energy (previously 3,000).

  • Final: 20,000 Energy (previously 4,000).

League 1 Rewards: Energy per match in the 1st League increased to 500 (previously 90), and Golden Balls to 150 (previously 50).

SuperLeague Rewards: Energy per match increased:

  • 1,000 Energy (previously 500) for one season played,

  • Up to 2,000 Energy (previously 750) for six or more seasons played in the SuperLeague.

✅ Top Teams of the Week: Increased skill bonuses for 2nd and 3rd places:

  • 2nd place bonus increased from 7% to 20% for the entire team.

  • 3rd place bonus increased from 5% to 7% for the entire team.

 

LOCKER ROOM

Item sales:Added the option to sell items for Energy, previously limited to Euro or Golden Balls.

Item sales: Tripled the Energy multiplier for selling items.

Item Upgrading: Updated item upgrade requirements for higher tiers:

  • 3 Epic items isntead of 5

  • 4 Rare items instead of 5

  • Legendary items will be removed from upgrading

Shin Pads: Removed protection against health loss and injury duration. Instead, they now reduce Euro consumption during auto training, similar to how balls reduce Energy consumption.

Undershirt/Underwear: Regenerate 2% health at enchantment level 35.

Basic Items: Boots, Jerseys, Shorts, and Socks now add a specific percentage to the item's trained skill.



NEW EVENT OPTIONS

Card Duels: New event option “Fast Hands” – round time is reduced to X seconds.

Card Duels: At the start of a match, a certain number of cards are sent to “jail,” meaning they are locked and cannot be used during the duel.

Simultaneous Training: Train up to 4 skills at the same time during selected events.

Card Crafting Discounts: Reduced costs for crafting cards during selected events.

Crafting Rewards: Chance to receive double the amount of Success Crystals, Success Balls, fragments, and drinks during crafting.

 

MATCH

Team Chemistry Update: Chemistry decreases when a player is on the bench, losing 0.0030 per minute spent there. It also drops if a player is inactive for more than 3 days, with a loss of 2% chemistry per day. Inactive accounts cannot gain chemistry even if they play in a match.

Formation & Tactics Limit: The maximum number of formation and/or tactics changes is now capped at 20 per match.

Position Rebalancing: Adjustments made to the balance of offensive and defensive midfielders.

Health Restriction: Players with less than 51% health cannot be placed in the lineup for matches in the SuperLeague and League 1.

 

ACHIEVEMENTS

✅ Introduced daily, weekly, and seasonal achievements in addition to one-time achievements.

✅ Completed achievements that need to be collected before finishing the daily calendar are now highlighted.

✅ During events with resource multipliers for club payouts, the multiplier does not apply to achievements or the cafeteria. However, it is still applied to deposits made to the Warehouse for club resource totals.

✅ Adjusted thresholds for the “Giving My Best Daily” achievement.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

Augmentation: New thresholds introduced; the maximum has been increased from 100% to... 1000%! Additionally, unlocking higher-level crystals requires unlocking the previous ones, except for Green Crystals of Success, which are available without prior unlocking.

Augmentation: Reduced the power of regular crystals (maximum augment is now 200%).

Enchanting: Removed the requirement for Success and Triumph Fragments when enchanting historical items.

Item Unlocking: Updated the costs in Golden Balls and Energy for unlocking items.

Skill Change: Updated the costs in Golden Balls and Energy for changing item skills.

Character: Expanded the penalty system. Players who violate the rules may lose access to changing their nickname/email, buying/selling items on the market, making purchases in the Shop, sending private messages, and chatting.

Bets: Increased the maximum Euro bet by 5x, raising the limit from 10 to 50 million.

Calendar: Added the option to complete earlier daily challenges for Credits, even from the beginning of the season.

Hero Stars: Set a maximum account limit of 125 Hero Stars.

Game: Every new player now starts with a whopping 50,000 Energy!
