THE CHEMP SAGA!
Hello players!
Here we go with another sensational article, which will cover the Russian-Ukrainian-Brazilian striker Eugenio Chemp (1916-1995)
Exiled by the Russian Revolution
Born in Kiev, the son of engineer Frederico and piano teacher Elizabeth Chemp. On July 31, 1923, his father, still in the Russian Empire, sent him, along with his mother and younger brother Victor, to Brazil on the ship RMS Arlanza. His newborn sister also boarded the ship, but died during the voyage.
His football career:
His first football club in Brazil was Clube Atlético Albion, but he really started to stand out at São Paulo Futebol Clube, where he joined in 1936, a club where he played for three seasons (1936/1937/1941). An interesting fact about this moment in the player's life is that his registration with sports organizations included Uruguayan nationality. He played 19 games for the São Paulo club and scored 14 goals.
His desire to play in Rio de Janeiro almost led him to sign with Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, but he ended up signing with Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, where he only left in 1940, having played 42 games and scored 15 goals.
He set sail for Recife in 1940 on the ship Pedro I, as a new player for Clube Náutico Capibaribe, filling the red and white fans with hope, due to his prominence in previous clubs. He scored 7 goals in his 11 games. However, his time in Pernambuco had a serious setback. He was called up by the Pernambuco national team, which beat Ceará 2-0, but his match was contested, since foreign players were not allowed to compete in that competition. The match was canceled and Chemp's nationality was questioned in Brazil. Chemp arrived in Brazil in 1923 at the age of 3 and always considered himself a local, but his request for naturalization was only regularized in 1941.
As a football player, without much prominence, he played for the Portuguese Sports Association in 1941 and amateur teams until 1948, when he ended his career as a player.
Political vocation and strikes:
In 1948, in São Paulo, he joined the Brazilian Communist Party and became an active figure among the metalworkers, working as a salesman for a local steel mill. His ideals of justice and equality led him to become a member of the union's board of directors and to lead movements and strikes.
He participated as one of the leaders of some of the most emblematic strikes that occurred in Brazil, the so-called Strike of the 300,000 and the Strike of the 700,000, which involved 14 professional categories.
His main area of activity was the implementation of the 13th salary, the increase in workers' monthly income and the "freezing" of prices of essential goods.
On March 31, 1964, as the Military Coup in Brazil; Chemp and 75 other members of the Brazilian Communist Party were indicted and sent to prison in 1964. He was subjected to torture sessions, was tried twice and acquitted on both occasions. In 1973, he decided to leave the political and union struggles.
At the end of his life, Parkinson's disease, which according to his family, could have been the result of torture in prison, left him unable to walk until his death in 1995.
I will end with a phrase from Chemp, when he was a soccer player: "In the world, Brazil. In Brazil, Rio. In Rio, Botafogo!", he added, in an interview with Diário da Noite.
Thank you and see you next time.

HOW HAVE SOCCER UNIFORMS CHANGED OVER THE LAST 100 YEARS?
In soccer, nothing stands still. Tactics, schemes, functions of players are developing, ideas of technological process are being applied. The same applies to the players' uniforms. Over the last 100 years, soccer uniforms have undergone significant changes. It used to be simple and functional, but today it has become much more technological and stylish.
1920s:
Soccer uniforms at the beginning of the century were fairly simple. Mostly white jerseys and black shorts were used. Some teams started adding their club emblems on their uniforms to stand out from other teams.
1930s-1950s:
During this period, the first attempts to diversify the color scheme of uniforms began to appear. Blue, red and green colors appeared. However, the main colors were still white and black. There were also the first attempts to use sponsor logos on the uniforms. Also during this period of time, numbers began to appear on the players' jerseys. At first they were assigned to players depending on their position on the pitch, from 1 to 11. Later the numbers were used to identify players regardless of their position.
1960s-1980s:
This was a period of rapid technological development in the production of sportswear. Uniforms became more comfortable and breathable thanks to new materials. The number of color options and designs also increased. Many teams began using bright colors and unusual patterns on their uniforms. Short sleeve shirts came into fashion, which was a real revolutionary step in the world of soccer. It allowed players to move faster and easier, and to control the ball better.
1990s-2000s:
With advances in fabric technology, uniforms became even more comfortable and functional. Special materials that wick away moisture and retain heat began to be used. This allowed players to feel comfortable even under the most extreme conditions. Also at this stage, various printing and embroidery technologies began to be actively used to decorate the uniforms.
Today:
Today, soccer uniforms continue to evolve and become more innovative. Manufacturers are using the latest technology to create uniforms that maximize performance and comfort. Modern uniforms may have built-in sensors that monitor a player's physical performance during a game, as well as various cooling and ventilation systems.
Modern soccer uniforms utilize various innovative technologies that are designed to enhance the performance of soccer players. For example, many manufacturers of sportswear use Dri-Fit technology, which allows you to effectively remove moisture from the skin of the athlete and keep dry and comfortable even under intense physical exertion. Also, some models of jerseys use technology to protect against ultraviolet rays, which is especially important when playing outdoors in sunny weather.
In addition, designers continue to experiment with colors and patterns to create unique and memorable looks for each team.
And each fan may have their own opinion on which uniforms are the most attractive. However, there are a few uniforms that are often cited as some of the most beautiful. Here are my top 5 such uniforms.
1. Brazil national team uniform: Traditional yellow and green coloring with the addition of blue elements.
2. Real Madrid uniform: Classic white uniform with gold details.
3. Manchester United: Red color with black stripes and white logo.
4. Barcelona Catalan uniform: Blue and garnet colors symbolizing the flag of Catalonia.
5. Bayern Munich uniform: Traditional red and white stripes.
I wish you a pleasant reading and see you in the next issue of the FT newspaper.

.3 Games at Discord
There’s so many games that it will be hard to mention them all, but …
Let’s start from the best one which is implemented by me “Hangry Games!”
It’s game with many random action where player kill player, you vote who to eliminate or you die by accident 😅 each game usually take from 5-10 mins depend on number of players. Since the hangry game is more Random game than order, you have option just to eliminate someone, rest is decided by fate and how hangry you are.
Guess the Number!
You have to guess the number which was randomly selected by bot as soon as possible, here are rules:
🔹I have thought of a number between 1 and 250.
🔹First person to guess the number wins!
🔹You have UNLIMITED guesses.
🔹Anyone can participate!
GEOGUESSER
Game implemented by the one and only Nymeria! For all fans of finding locations just by a small screen of any place in the world!
For me that game is way too hard, but I know that many enjoy it, maybe you should give it a try? Here are the rules:
🔹 The game consists of finding where in the world that picture is. The players must choose the continent, country and finally the city. The one who gets closest to the correct result wins.
🔹 Players must choose from this list. In the case of cities and countries it is possible to choose more than one. After choosing the options they think are correct, click outside to confirm their choices. The bot scores more those who get it right faster or who, in the priority line of choosing, choose the right answer first.
At the end i left Contest which happens only once a week, currently there’s only 2 contest:
WHO IS THE FOOTBALLER?
Where you need to guess a football player just by body outlines and some tips given during the game, but trust me it’s worth your effort and you can also learn more about football!
Quiz
As you can imagine it's a Quiz where the person with the higher number of points wins, points are counted only for correct answers and depend on how fast you have answered.
I’m sure that I haven’t mentioned all that is taking place at Discord, so there’s only one way to get to know all: you have to join!

ROTATING POSITIONS DURING A MATCH
Recently, there has been a significant outcry against Kamyk RS for "excessively rotating players during the fight for medals," and I want to clarify upfront that I'm not writing this in his defense—I'm neither a fan of his nor do I care about gaining his favor. However, looking at this objectively, it must be clearly stated that he didn't break any rules, and his unconventional methods in no way affected the outcome of the match (if anything, they benefited his opponent, not harmed them).
Let's take a look at real football—don’t teams often play with a focus on a player aiming for the top scorer title? Don't they play more defensively when a match is already won, and their goalkeeper is vying for an award related to clean sheets or goals conceded per match? Anyone with even a basic understanding of football can confirm this.
Accusing Kamyk of "cheating" is, at the very least, laughable. The fact that some club doesn't care about individual awards for its players only reflects poorly on them. Another issue is intentionally losing games to play in a lower tier, which I have criticized and still consider wrong. In that case, you could accuse someone of cheating, unethical behavior, or any other term for match-fixing.
The administration specifically introduced a table where you can see what percentage of a player's potential is used when playing outside their primary position. Rotating players is not a violation of the rules, nor is it something bad, as some would have you believe—provided it doesn’t lead to intentionally losing matches. I personally recall one season where, managing DS, I arranged players in a way that allowed us to secure two medals for strikers, three for midfielders, one for a defender, and two for goalkeepers by the end of the season. I still rotate players because it's part of the tactical element—something some people seem to forget. If it were against the rules, the administration would have blocked the possibility of playing outside a player's designated position.
The current solution, which limits the skills of a player outside their position, is perfect. In real football, we often see such strategies—defensive midfielders dropping between the center-backs, a center-back moving up when a goal is desperately needed, an inverted full-back stepping into midfield to support the line, wing-backs, and many more examples. A player changing position in line with a top-down tactic may not be as effective as a player who regularly plays that position, but this shift brings other valuable elements to the team that could ultimately decide a victory.
In my own experience, when aiming for a medal for a midfielder, I’ve taken him off when the ball was in the midfield to avoid receiving a pass near the penalty area. Then, when the play moved forward and the ball reached the area, I’d put him back on the field, removing other strong midfielders to increase the chances of the chosen player making the pass in the box. There are countless maneuvers like this, and if someone has the time and knowledge to use them, they do—because it gives you an edge over your opponent. FootballTeam is meant to engage us in matches, to reflect the realities of real competitions as best as possible, and that’s where it’s headed.
Should we punish innovation, ambition, and "cunning" (although some will likely object to that term)? No, and unfortunately, some don't understand the rationale behind switching players’ positions. And as we know, people fear what they don’t understand. It’s easy to push the narrative that these tactics are bad, immoral, etc., but they only serve the club and its players. Additionally, we shouldn’t force our convictions onto the administration, demanding changes we think are good. Dialogue should be the path to understanding, not monologue as it often is now, where a player expresses an opinion, and it's either done their way, or they remain unsatisfied. A good example was the cards—players wanted to influence the choice of awardees, but even when given the option to vote, most were unhappy because either their candidates weren’t on the list or they could vote for someone they felt didn’t deserve it. Give someone an inch, and they’ll take a mile. The funniest situation was when a large group of players was disappointed by the absence of Hiszpan’s card, unaware that he already had one on the PL server—Tom Bombadil from when he played for DS and later TA.
The current solutions are good and reasonably reflect real football. The update allowing for six substitutions without a loss in skill is another excellent step for players who dedicate themselves daily, spending 20–25 minutes (or more, with other competitions) at each match, trying to maximize their team’s chances of winning and competing for individual awards. Kamyk may have some skeletons in his closet, but attacking him for looking out for his players is unjustified. The game is heading in the right direction, and instead of appreciating the many positive changes, we focus only on those we see as negative. Thanks to the fact that many players reasonably voiced their opinion that the removal of drinks would be a bad move, the administration came up with a much better solution—exchanging unnecessary drinks for resources.
Thank you for reading my piece, and I invite you back next week for the return of the "FT Gangsters" series. I also recommend that every club owner/assistant experiment with tactics and rotation—this is a game, and it's meant to entertain us. Enjoy FootballTeam—that’s what it’s all about!
