NEW EVENT FORMAT

 

Starting in January, we’re introducing a new event format in FootballTeam designed to make gameplay more diverse and engaging for players. We’ve decided to shorten longer, thematic events (like the Valentine’s Event), which over time, could lose their appeal and become monotonous. This change will make shorter events more dynamic, intense, and exciting.

Moreover, every week will feature fresh, varied events such as card-based challenges, item-enchanting events, or work-related competitions. This new format ensures that each week in the game feels unique, bringing greater variety to the gameplay.

With this approach, every player will find something tailored to their preferences and have the chance to explore different aspects of the game. 

 

What does this mean in practice?

  • Major event: This type of event is tied to updates or special occasions, like Valentine’s Day. During these events, the focus will be on training and character development boosts. Options from smaller events will not be available at that time.

  • Team Games: These competitions involve rewards that depend on the involvement of the entire team. The more your team is engaged, the greater the rewards!

  • Minor Event: These are thematic events, such as enchanting, upgrading items to a higher tier, augmentations, etc. They will appear periodically, every few months.

  • Card Event: These events allow you to play with cards in many different ways, such as “Caged Cards,” “Fast Hands,” or various combinations involving specific tiers of cards.

These changes are aimed at bringing even more excitement and challenges! Get ready to discover the surprises we have in store – in the coming weeks, there will be plenty of new content to ignite the competition!

 

 

 

EVENT ROADMAP – FEBRUARY

 

 

DEVELOPER'S CORNER

 

In January, we continued working on tasks planned for the first quarter of 2025. To recap, these include updates and overhauls of major parts of the game’s achievements, a revamp of Hero Stars, the SuperLeague module, new special collections, and the bottle buyback module. Additionally, we are planning an update for the item enchanting module.

We’ve reviewed all the achievements in the game and concluded that the majority of them need updating. Since the last Q&A, the number of new achievements has increased to 64. We want the task module to undergo a full reform at once, rather than spreading it over multiple updates. Therefore, we’ve decided to postpone the implementation of the Stance module to focus on expanding the game’s achievement system. We’re gearing up for the largest achievement update in our history.

We’re also excited to share that the number of new special collections to be added in the upcoming update has increased from 32 to 88. More details about the special collections can be found in the "Leaks Drop" section below.

Here’s a full list of the current ongoing work:

💎 City:“Bottle Buyback” module that will allow players to exchange excess drinks for useful resources, helping to reduce unnecessary items.  

💎Gameplay:Changes to SuperLeague  – it will be changed into SuperLeague Tournament.

PLANNED WORKS

Here’s a full list of the current ongoing work:

💎Affilliaton: Rework of affiliation for players.

💎 Sorting: Adding new sorting options in private messages.

💎 QuestLine: Adding QuestLine that will replace the tutorial and help introduce new players to the game.

💎 “Character” tab: Adding icon with the flag of the player’s country (selected by players).

💎 Dashboard: Adding a counter of Energy used for training on a given day. 

💎 Ranking: Adding a point-based ranking system to evaluate a player's performance in matches.

💎Games: Stance This new feature will allow players to temporarily boost a character during a match, likely for 5 ticks. It’s designed to promote in-game activity. Players can activate this option up to three times per match: the first activation is free, while the next two cost 0.5% of Chemistry + Energy per click.

💎 Games: Changing tactics during a match will no longer reduce the team's power. You’ll have 6 free tactic changes per match. Any additional changes will deduct chemistry from all players involved, but this penalty will only apply after the match ends. This adjustment aims to prevent deliberate weakening of the club during matches and to encourage more strategic use of tactics.

💎 City/Market: Adding a market history showing the last X transactions made with Credits.

💎City/Cafeteria: Adding an automatic Cafeteria for Season Pass holders, allowing players to schedule multiple meals in a queue.

💎 Dashboard: Adding information about the number of Basic Training and Training Centre sessions completed, making it easier to complete daily challenges.

💎 Polls: Introduction of pop-up polls available in the game.

💎 Sounding: Sounding of cards. Each card will be assigned a unique sounding - 1292 recorded sounds.

💎 Sounding: New sound design in various game modules (Work, Cafeteria, Daily Challenges, Seasonal Challenges, etc. – about 1500 recorded sounds).

💎 Website: New landing page (game homepage).

💎 Website: New blog and Wikipedia for FootballTeam players.

💎 Club Manufacturing: Adding animations for crafting items in the Manufacturing module.

💎 Club Manufacturing: Adding a new building feature allowing clubs to craft and enchant items (Balls, Wristbands, Jerseys, etc.). This building will generate EURO for each club member, in addition to their salary/contract, whenever someone outside the club uses the Manufacture. 

💎 Team invitations: Adding the possibility to send team invitations.

💎 Club: Implementation of Phase II of the Club extension – Adding the CLUB SPA building. 

💎 Club: Implementation of Phase II of the Club extension – Adding the Marketing Agency building.

SUMMARY OF NEWS AND CHANGES

💎 Player strength rebalancing based on the position they play. This change aims to prevent players from being intentionally placed in incorrect positions. We’ve also strengthened the rotation strength between defenders and defensive midfielders, as well as between forwards and attacking midfielders.

💎 We’ve fixed several bugs, including:

  • Fix for auto-training (it was possible to start more than four training sessions)

  • Fix for drinks (it was possible to use both 1000% and 200% drinks simultaneously)

  • Several fixes related to card slots

  • Fixes for card enchanting simulations

💎 FootballTeam Assistant: First phase of testing Artificial Intelligence usage to improve FAQ service quality.

💎Added sound effects for the slot enchanting module.

💎 Ranking of Euro earnings by teams.

💎 Added a new Energetic Pack.

LEAKS DROP

Welcome to our favorite part of the Q&A. Here’s the January leak drop. Feel free to read and comment!

 

Booster Collection Revamp

We can now perform 8 collection exchanges per day.

We’re removing the limits on collection exchanges, meaning we can exchange the same collection up to 8 times (e.g., for Stamina) or mix it up, such as 3x Stamina, 3x Offensive Play, and 2x Playmaking. This will allow us to improve the skills we actually need.

Exchanging collections removes the speciality lock and reduces its cost by 50%. If there’s a speciality lock, the exchange reduces its unlocking cost in Energy by 50%.

Exchanging collections does not affect Booster exchanges.

Each collection exchanged restores 500 Energy.

 

Adding new special collections

88 new Special Collections will be introduced.

Rare Collections II: A set of 10 new collections, which can be exchanged up to 5 times with a choice of 2 different rewards. These will allow us to trade unnecessary drinks for valuable rewards. Example collections:

 

Legendary Collections II: A set of 6 new collections, which can be exchanged up to 3 times with a choice of 2 different rewards. We’ll mainly exchange Balls of Success and Crystals of Success for valuable rewards.

 

Platinum Collections II: A set of 12 new collections, which can be exchanged up to 3 times with a choice of 2 different rewards. We’ll mainly exchange Balls of Success, Crystals of Success, Drinks, and Fragments for valuable rewards.

 

Platinum I: A set of 10 new collections, which can be exchanged up to 3 times with a choice of 2 different rewards. We’ll mainly exchange regular and special Platinum Items, Balls of Success, and Balls of Triumph for valuable rewards.

 

Platinum Special: A set of 9 new collections, which can be exchanged once with a choice of 2 different rewards. We’ll mainly exchange special +20 Platinum and Special Items for valuable rewards.

 

Diamond I: A set of 12 new collections, which can be exchanged up to 2 times with a choice of 2 different rewards. We’ll mainly exchange Diamond Items, Fragments of Triumph, Balls of Success and Triumph, and Crystals of Success for valuable rewards.

Diamond Special: A set of 7 new collections, which can be exchanged once with a choice of 2 different rewards. We’ll mainly exchange any Diamond Items +20 for valuable rewards.

Historical: A set of 9 new collections, which can be exchanged once with a choice of one or two different rewards. We’ll exchange any Historical Items for valuable rewards.

 

 

Item enchanting module update

  1. Rebalancing enchantment chance % for levels 20 - 35

  2. The maximum enchanting level for TOP Historical Items will be increased to +40.

  3. New Item Enchanting Rules:

Levels +20 -> 25 

  • We can use any Ball of Success and enchanting-supporting drinks.

  • Ball of Triumph doesn’t require additional costs in Golden Balls.

Levels 26 -> 30   

  • We can use any Ball of Success and enchanting-supporting drinks.

  • Using a Ball of Triumph requires additional costs in Golden Balls.

Levels 31 -> 40 

  • We cannot use Balls of Success during the enchanting attempt.

  • We can use any enchanting-supporting drink.

  • Using a Triumph Ball requires additional costs in Golden Balls.

All Historical Items TOP at enchanting level +40 will gain additional powerful effects.

PLAYERS’ QUESTIONS

 

Lincoln: Consider the possibility of card duels, where 11 rounds are already set and displayed in one of the top corners of the screen, so participants can plan and use their cards with better strategies.

 

Hi Lincoln! Thanks for your suggestion – we really appreciate the engagement from our players. We'll bring it up in the next developers' meeting and see if we can implement it into the game. Keep your fingers crossed!

 

 

 

Deep: Two proposals:

I want to suggest an idea for Team Games. The training threshold for players in SL (SuperLeague) should be higher, while for everyone outside the top level, it should be lower. This would make participating in Team Games easier and more realistic.

 

Hey Deep, thanks for your suggestion! We believe that participating in SuperLeague competitions is a unique recognition for players who can feel appreciated for the effort and dedication they've put into the game. We want it to be a positive and enjoyable experience, so we aim to avoid additional requirements that could make it difficult for participants.

 

Suggestion to improve the Season Pass: Introducing three variants: Cheaper SP – fewer rewards or simpler bonuses, cost: 2000-3000 Credits; Standard Season Pass – the current model for 6,500 Credits; Premium SP – more expensive (e.g., 10,000 Credits) but offering exclusive, additional rewards.

 

Introducing several SP variants definitely sounds interesting and could give players more ways to customize their experience. However, we’re currently focusing on changes that directly impact the development of the game and gameplay, such as improvements to the club module and task modifications. But we don’t rule out revisiting such ideas in the future – every suggestion is important to us!

 

 

 

Mr Messive: Several suggestions to make the game more enjoyable:

Hi Messive, thanks for your suggestions! Changing the animation for Card Packs is possible, but it's quite a time-consuming process. At this stage of the game’s development, we prefer focusing on changes that will have a real impact on FootballTeam's growth and improve gameplay, such as club module improvements or achievement modifications. 😊

 

A skip animation button for augmenting/enchanting.

We’ll consider adding an option to skip animations for augmenting, enchanting, or other draws. Thanks for the suggestion! 🫡

 

Add an option to disable pop-up windows when receiving something.

 

Thanks for your suggestion! We understand that notifications can sometimes be annoying, so we’ve limited the number of notifications visible on the screen at once – currently, only one notification can appear at the same time. However, they are an integral part of the game, so we can’t remove them entirely. We hope the changes have made the gameplay more comfortable, and the notifications will be appearing in a positive context for you.

 

Adding a crate with item sets to the game: For golden items + adding the option in the manufacturing module to create a Bull Pack containing the entire set of items for a given tier and set (e.g., El Pibe set).

 

Currently, this task would be quite time-consuming, as we don’t have such solutions in the game yet. This is an option we can consider adding later in the development of the game.

ReKu: Does changing rewards in achievements mean that all achievements will be reset, and players will be able to claim those rewards again, or will they be updated and already claimed progress will be lost?

 

Hi ReKu! Great question. Yes, many of the achievements will be reset, but we have additional information for you. A large number of completely new achievements will be added to the game! In some cases, one task will be removed, and in its place, we’ll add several new ones. For example, the achievement related to collections – "Globetrotter" – will be removed, and in its place, 11 tasks dedicated to each collection separately will appear. We’ve also thoroughly analyzed the achievement completion stats and adjusted the thresholds to make them more accessible to a wider group of players.

Duels without blocking the game

Skip – surrendering a lost duel without waiting for the 11 rounds to finish.

 

Hey Robert! We're happy that you're with us and actively helping us improve the game. We're not entirely sure what you mean by blocking the game. Are you referring to the possibility of playing a duel on one card, while another one is used for something like training? If so, we need to consult the technical feasibility of this option. If it's possible and we decide to implement such a change, we’ll inform you and all players in the next Q&A.

 

 

 

Tyszka123: As usual, I suggest the option to skip the pack opening and the possibility of creating multiple packs with unique items (not just 10x the same).

 

Hey Tyszka123, thanks for your suggestion. It’s a great idea, but we currently lack the time and resources to implement it. We’ll definitely revisit the topic after the club update.

 

 

 

Daddy Don: Three proposals:

Double reward for defeating opponents from the championship division, being in the second league or lower.

An unlimited number of quick duels per day, within the currently set time, with the possibility of receiving rewards for winning duels.

Add a Card Collection that gives 50% more Fame Points when selling any cards.

 

Hi Daddy Don! Thanks for your questions. Currently, we’re focused on maintaining the existing reward system for duels as it’s working really well. However, we have great news for you! Our efforts are now focused on the achievements module. A significant portion of old achievements will be rebalanced, and in the next update, we’ll introduce 64 new achievements – the largest achievement update in FootballTeam history!

 

 

 

Lomax20001: Ability to challenge a specific player to a duel – an off-ranking option, of course.

PafkaPT: After the season, there’s a reset of the player's level in card duels. If I’m weak, I have to lose a lot of duels to start facing opponents at my level.

 

Hey PafkaPT, thanks for your question! The ranking system in FootballTeam works similarly to other games like League of Legends or Counter-Strike. A season reset also resets the MMR, which is a standard element of such systems. This gives players the opportunity to start fresh and quickly increase their MMR, especially if they’ve strengthened their decks in the previous season. This keeps the competition fresh and exciting for everyone! 😊

 

 

 

Dominek: Why are you removing the XP boost rewards from achievements? This is one of the few options for F2P players to fully utilize Energy during the event.

 

Thanks for your question. We want to reassure you – XP bonuses of 50% and 200% won’t disappear from all achievements. Moreover, many of the 64 new achievements will also feature such bonuses. We hope the new tasks will allow players, including F2P ones, to better utilize Energy during events.

Natłok różnych drinków jest dla mnie oszałamiający, o niektórych nawet nie wiedziałem, że istnieją, albo dla takiego gracza F2P są bez wartości. ALE jest drink, którego w grze brakuje. Mianowicie jakiś, który by zwiększał zyski ze stołówki, bo te 125 energii za 15 minut to nawet klikać się nie opłaca i trzeba czekać aż łaskawie na jakimś evencie będzie zysk razy X.

Cena ulepszanie nie zostanie zwiększona. Największa zmiana to że będzie można wbijać z +20 -> 30 używając Piłek Sukcesu co było wcześniej nie możliwe. Zmienią się szanse na wbicie przedmiotu i będzie to trudne bez Piłek Sukcesu. Ale z piłkami sukcesu i drinkiem nie będzie już tak bardzo wymagające.

Серьезно? что-то я давно не видел банов ни для игроков, ни для команд, которые откровенно сливают матчи ЛЧ для попадания в ЛЕ. Особенно это касается спид сервера, где обещались предельно строго за этим смотреть!

sashaalex, вот и именно что "принципы честной игры" каждый может трактовать на своё усмотрение, когда в одном случаи админы со стороны одной команды увидели нарушение, а в следующем сезоне со стороны другой команды не видят. Для меня именно такой индивидуальный подход и есть нарушение "принципа честной игры" Правила должны быть чётко прописанные и прозрачны для всех игроков мира ФТ. Или наоборот, каждый сезон клубы занимаются своими мини махинациями, которые не запрещены по правилам, но стоит какой нибудь команде, которая не входит в сообщество таких команд сделать то же самое и обойти эти команды по их же правилам, сразу начинают писать репорты и администрация эту команду наказывает на целый сезон. Хотя то же самое делали команды на протяжении всех сезонов. Разве это справедливо? Разве это и есть "принципы честно игры?" Уверяю всех админов, что это не способствует развитию проекта, а наоборот!

И всё началось с наказаний Советов на ру сервере. Вместо того чтобы ещё в те времена прописать правила или регламент, вы сами стали определять есть нарушение или нет. Хотя все команды занимались одним и тем же, просто Советы это сделали чуть грубее, чем другие. Не сложно проследить динамику развития проекта, это как раз был пик активности. После этого у игроков стал пропадать интерес когда их так стали наказывать. Вы наказываете, игроки уходят. Если игроки находят какие то способы чтобы увеличить шансы на победу своей команды в рамках правил, то за это нельзя наказывать, вместо этого нужно регулировать это правилами или регламентом, как в реальной жизни! «Что дозволено Юпитеру, не дозволено быку»
