BORAT IS ALL IN FOR THE POINTS!

Good day, dear readers of our sports magazine!

I’ve found out... that I have a big family. Alright, alright, just kidding. What I’ve really found out is that many people neglect the daily missions. Not that I’m some sort of hero fighting for everyone’s well-being, but still - why not give good people a helpful tip?

Today, we’re primarily going to talk about daily card missions.

So, here’s the deal: many folks look at these missions and skip them because they see the costs involved. But as Koschei would say - those who know the missions, know what’s up.

Let’s break down the costs first, and then see if they’re actually worth it.

Mission 1  - Exchange a card collection once.
This mission isn’t entirely free, but if you play more than once a week, then to me, it doesn't really cost anything.

I’ll skip the next mission for now, and I’ll explain why a bit later.

Mission 3  - Create three cards.
Let’s go with the minimum: creating three common (grey) cards will cost 90 fame points (30 per card). Aha! That’s when the stingy side kicks in... You’re spending 90 fame points every day, which adds up to 2,700 points over 30 days!

Mission 4  - Upgrade any three cards.
Common cards can’t be upgraded, so we’re talking about improved (blue) ones here. Upgrading three already-upgraded cards will cost another 90 fame points daily or 2,700 per month.

At this point, many readers will want to stop reading, roll their eyes, and call me crazy for suggesting you do these missions.

But hold on! Don’t close the article just yet!

Now, back to Mission 2  - Sell five common cards, three improved ones, and one rare card.
Here’s where we start to earn some fame points. Selling 5 common cards gives you 10 points daily, or 300 per season. Still not enough to cover costs, right? Selling the rare card gets you 20 points, and selling 3 improved cards gives 15–30 points per day. The profit here varies because you can sell base improved cards for 15 points or upgraded improved cards (yes, that sounds ugly - let’s call them “boosted improved” cards) for 30 points.

That’s why I skipped this mission earlier - so no one would ask where to get boosted improved cards. The trick is to upgrade only cards that you have duplicates of (so you can keep one in your collection after selling). This way, you can earn around 60 points per day from sales, or 1,800 points per season. Now we’re talking!

Next, for completing these three missions, you get a bonus mission: 100 points per day plus a card pack, or 3,000 points and 30 packs for the season. Nice bonus, though it still feels like we’re in the red.

So, what gives? Did Borat lie? The missions are done, and we’re still losing points, but the “mustachioed man” promised us the world!

That’s where seasonal rewards come in.

Complete the above missions 3 times - get 200 bonus fame points.
Do them 7 times - get 300 more.
Do them 14 times - another 500.
And as a cherry on top, do them 21 and 28 times to earn a red and a gold card respectively.

Yes, ideally you should do the missions daily, but there’s a “lazy” option: doing them over 14 days.

In that case, the cost breakdown is:
1260 + 1260 (costs)  - 840  - 1400  - 200  - 300  - 500 (rewards) = -720 fame points.
And that “minus” is actually a plus.
Meaning, over 14 days, you come out 720 points ahead. Plus you get some energy and 14 card packs.

Yes, if you do the missions every day (i.e., all 28 days), you’ll end up in a slight point deficit, but you’ll receive 28 card packs (which you can use to make up the loss), and also get a red and a gold card - both of which cost way more points to create or buy. Selling them alone can nearly offset your expenses.

Whether to complete the missions or not is up to you, of course,
but Borat recommends it!

ROYAL SERVER: FINDING NEW TEAMS PSZENNE ORLY

Your weekly source of sports information and entertainment, Sports Journal #47, brought to you by our team of journalists! Hello everyone. I'm continuing my project as a FootballTeam journalist, this time dedicated to a new team on the ROYAL server, PSZENNE ORLY. The leader of this incredible squad is BASISTA, who is supported by two assistants: Roki and Dadzju. These three active players manage the club perfectly, allowing it to continue growing and improving.

This new team has only played since ROYAL Season 1, playing in the Turkish First Division. In Season 1, they played 30 league matches, winning 16, drawing 2, and losing 12, with 102 goals scored and 53 conceded.

PSZENNE ORLY are looking to finish first in the league and secure a place in the top spots of the First Division in its second season. They have managed to reach the top each season, bringing in new players who improve their team play. Right now, they are in the top 25, a very good position for their third season. They are definitely doing very well, and will surely continue to improve over time.

Current Season:

Right now, with 16 matches played, they are in 4th place, with 13 wins, 0 draws, and 3 losses, with 81 goals scored and 18 conceded. This team is likely to be promoted and could enter the European Cup.

How do you think this season will end? Will they improve? Will they finish in the top 4? Surely they will! They are already in the semifinals of the Turkish Domestic Cup, where they will face Arka Gdynia. We'll see if they can claim victory and reach the historic final of the national cup. It would be a historic event!

Tactics:

PSZENNE ORLY tends to play a 3-4-2-1 formation with a creative tactic, which is impressive and effective in their matches. In this formation, you can see good balance in all areas of the field. At first glance, it seems like the midfield is combative, with four players with good OVR levels, but the fact that these midfielders are very strong, combined with the help of two attacking midfielders, makes the midfield very solid.

In addition to this, they have three very solid defenders, but they falter at times, especially in matches with teams of equal or higher level, and a strong attack, all driven by the attacking midfielder and the tactics he uses, which are very attacking. In conclusion, it's a good formation for the team, with a good balance in all areas. This is why they've performed so well in Season 2.

Star Players:

Like every team, there are star players, and PSZENNE ORLY has several who carry the team forward and stand out from the rest. Some of these are Bastista (1191 OVR MC), Dadzju (1093 OVR MC), and Roki (1138 OVR DFC).

As I mentioned before, this team has a balanced lineup and strong players in every position, making it very competitive and balanced in every aspect. Of all these players, the one who stands out the most is Basista, a player who grows over time and has impressive stats that will surely attract the attention of other teams.

Basista

Basista is a central midfielder who has only played for two seasons, which is impressive given his rating achieved in such a short time. Without a doubt, he is an above-average player who will continue to grow, and the best teams on the server will surely want him.

In addition to his qualification and bright future in the game, he has impressive offensive skills, great efficiency, set-piece ability, stamina, and even playmaking. He's a very complete player in every aspect, which translates into impeccable performance on the pitch.

At this point in the season, the number two has scored a total of 22 goals and 16 assists in the league in just 16 matches played. If all competitions are included, he has an incredible tally of 37 goals and 26 assists in just 29 matches, which is impressive!

DISCOVERING TEAMS ON CLASSIC SERVER: TULERSI

In this week’s article of Discovering Teams on Classic Server, it’s time to talk about the legendary team Tulersi. A team that has been playing since Season 1 in the Classic server and has always been one of the top teams in the leagues they have competed in. The club is run by Boyos, Ligas, and Jed, with Boyos being the leader and the other two acting as assistants.

As mentioned before, Tulersi has been competing since Season 1, although their first trophies didn’t come until several seasons later. Specifically, in Season 6, when they won their first ever trophy by finishing 3rd in the English League. Just one season later, in Season 7, they secured another 3rd place finish, this time in the Spanish League, right after the server wide league restructuring.

In addition to those two league trophies, they recently won their first Domestic Cup, which is now their most prestigious title so far. Their trophy cabinet ends here for now, but I’m sure it will continue to grow with more titles in the upcoming seasons.

Current Season: 

In Season 9, Tulersi are currently sitting 4th in the Spanish League standings, but everything could change in the final matchdays, as the battle for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place is heating up. Everything will be decided in the match between Tulersi and Offline GG. Both teams are very similar, with closely matched overall ratings, and a growing rivalry between them.

The result of this match will be crucial in determining where each team finishes in the league. In the first half of the season, it was Offline GG who took the win over Tulersi in a very close match, with the home side winning 5-3.

Who will win this time? Will Offline GG take the victory again, or will Tulersi get their revenge? Honestly, I have no idea, but what I do know is that it’s going to be a great match, just like the other two they’ve played this Season 9!

The truth is that the Spanish League is extremely tight this season, with several strong and evenly matched teams fighting for a spot in both the Champions Tournament and the European Tournament. Teams like Tulersi, Offline GG, Alcatéia SC, Broski Wolfpack II, and the great FC KREMATORIUM make the league highly competitive and full of exciting matches.

As mentioned earlier, Tulersi won their first National Cup this season, and they did it in a very special way. In the final, they faced their rival Offline GG, in one of the most epic finals in Classic Server history. The final score was 5-7, and the match wasn’t decided until extra time, where Tulersi were crowned champions of the long-awaited National Cup.

There was a true hero in this final, we are talking about the incredible player B0SSu, who scored 6 out of the 7 goals for his team, leading them to victory and securing the trophy.

Tactics:

Tulersi uses a very popular and effective formation in the game, the 3-5-1-1. This formation takes advantage of its biggest strength, the attacking midfielder position, which is particularly favored compared to others. On top of that, their best player, B0SSu, plays in that role. Even though they already had very strong midfielders, B0SSu adds a lot to the team, especially in the offensive phase, which greatly benefits from the attacking midfielder in this formation. They also have solid defenders, making their defense very strong. 

Overall, the team is quite balanced, although their biggest strength is definitely the midfield, as they dominate many teams thanks to their high-quality players in those positions.

Star Players:

Tulersi is a great club with great players, and that explains why this fantastic team is ranked in the Top 12. This season, they have grown a lot and are now among the best in their league, and among the best in the entire server.

Among the club’s most outstanding players, we can find B0SSu, Ligas, Boyos, dabrowskyz, and VernMG.

Most of them are midfielders, which is one of the strongest areas of this team, along with the attack, led by B0SSu, the star of the squad. He stands out the most at Tulersi and is by far their best player.

B0SSu:

This great player joined Tulersi in Season 9, although it’s more accurate to say he returned to what was his first club on the server. He spent his first three seasons at Tulersi at the start of his career, before joining 7more7, now known as Stork Elite, where he took a massive step forward. He grew tremendously there over five long seasons, becoming one of the best players on the entire server.

After a great spell playing in the Super League with that top-tier team, he made his return to Tulersi in the current Season 9. And what better way to come back than by winning the first National Cup for Tulersi, a true display of loyalty and love for his original club.

B0SSu is an attacking midfielder, and in that position, he’s undoubtedly top 5 on the entire server. He boasts incredible stats, especially when it comes to playmaking, followed by set pieces and stamina.

This season, he has posted outstanding numbers, scoring 39 goals and providing 13 assists in 21 league matches. In the Domestic Cup, he scored 14 goals in just 6 matches, including 6 goals in the final alone. Across all competitions, he has racked up an astonishing 131 goals and 47 assists in 60 matches. These impressive stats speak for themselves, they show just how talented this player is and how much he has contributed to his team this season.

Next season will surely be exciting for Tulersi, and we’ll see what awaits them in the Spanish League and the European Tournament. No doubt they will continue to improve and aim for an even better campaign. Best of luck, and thank you for reading this article!

REFEREEING CONTROVERSIES THROUGH THE EYES OF A MANAGER #20

Hello, Kiero DS here. Due to the numerous controversial situations involving football referees, I've decided to create a new series where I will analyze these situations step by step. This series will be updated as controversies arise.

Marciniak's show in the PSG vs. Real Madrid match. Decisions straight out of the FIFA playbook:

This is not the first time I've written about Szymon Marciniak's excellent work – and I can confidently repeat: he's still the best referee in the world. The Paris Saint-Germain vs. Real Madrid match in the semifinals of the Club World Cup in the USA was further proof that Marciniak not only knows the Laws of the Game but can apply them with absolute mastery. At the beginning of the match, he made a decision that could easily be demonstrated in referee training sessions across all football federations.

The highest level of advantage application:

In the 6th minute, Ousmane Dembele found himself one-on-one with Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian, attempting to intervene, missed the ball but clearly prevented the Frenchman from further action – a classic penalty foul. What did Marciniak do? Instead of blowing his whistle immediately, as most referees do, he noticed the ball rolling to Fabian Ruiz. The Spaniard struck and scored, making it 1-0. Only then did Marciniak precisely signal the application of advantage – two outstretched arms pointing in the direction of the attack, then turning towards the center of the pitch with a sustained gesture.

From the perspective of the Laws of the Game – this was a perfect application of the advantage principle (Rule 5). Its application requires not only a foul but also a realistic opportunity for the injured team to continue the attack. Marciniak perfectly identified this situation and gave the game what it truly matters – fluidity and fairness. It was a masterpiece.

Not just the decisions – also the match management:

In the 25th minute, another brilliant judgment. Ruiz scores to make it 3-0 after contact with Valverde in the penalty area. The Uruguayan tried to stop his opponent with his hand, clearly pressing him, but Ruiz managed to stay on his feet and fire a successful shot. In this situation, Marciniak didn't signal the advantage. Was he right?

Here we return to Rule 5 again. The referee must assess not only the fact of the infringement, but also its severity. He may have decided that the pressure from the hand did not yet qualify for a whistle – or that Ruiz was in complete control and the advantage was obvious, so it didn't even need to be signaled formally. Such nuances distinguish very good referees from outstanding ones.

One premature decision, but out of empathy:

In the 38th minute, Kylian Mbappe went down in the PSG penalty area after a clear interception by an opponent. Marciniak immediately waved play on – and rightly so. However, moments later, he blew the whistle, interrupting PSG's attack to check on Mbappe, who was acting as if he had suffered a serious injury.

This was the only situation where there were any slight reservations. PSG launched a promising counterattack, but the interruption prevented it from developing. According to the Laws of the Game, if the referee suspects a serious injury, the match should be stopped immediately. From a coaching perspective, it was a bit overzealous, but justified by concern for the player's health. This demonstrates Marciniak's ability to combine flawless technical decisions with a human touch.

Perfect cooperation with assistant referees:

After the break, assistant referee Adam Kupsik perfectly detected an offside call on PSG's goal – the goal was rightly disallowed. Such precise cooperation within the refereeing team, especially in matches of this caliber, is crucial.

Why didn't he add time?:

Marciniak ended the match without adding seconds to the second half. Some viewers may have been surprised, but the decision also has its merits. The score was 4-0, PSG controlled, and there were no protests – sometimes it's better for everyone to finish the match without extra time. The referee has a duty to "feel the game" – and Marciniak does it like no other.

Szymon Marciniak confirmed his status as a world-class referee – with a feel for the game, excellent application of the rules, and incredible composure. And me?
