FOOTBALL QUIZ
👑 The winners of the latest issue are: (Legacy)
100 Premium Keys 🔑 - Kami
10,000 ⚡ Energy - KrysH & Bartek85
Hi! I'm here with another installment of the football quiz series. Of course, there will be prizes: 100 Premium Keys 🔑 for the first person to answer correctly and 10,000 ⚡ Energy for two randomly chosen people with the correct answer. I'll be selecting the winners on Thursday at 8 p.m. Let's get started!
1/ Player Name and Surname:
Born on July 1, 1976, in Oss, in the southern Netherlands, he displayed a flair for attacking play from a young age. He began his professional career with Den Bosch, then played for SC Heerenveen, where he gained recognition and was transferred to PSV Eindhoven. There, as a striker, he scored goals in spades, becoming the league's top scorer and attracting interest from European giants.
In 2001, after a lengthy rehabilitation from a knee injury, he joined Manchester United. From his very first matches, he proved himself a natural-born striker. Over five seasons, he scored 150 goals in 219 appearances, winning the league title, the FA Cup, and the Premier League top scorer title. He was renowned for his exceptional goalkeeping instincts—he could capitalize on even the smallest opportunities in the penalty area. He wasn't flashy, but he was incredibly effective.
In 2006, he moved to Real Madrid. There he also won titles, including the Spanish league title and the La Liga top scorer. He later played for Hamburger SV and Málaga CF, where he retired in 2012.
He played 70 matches for the national team and scored 35 goals. He played at Euro 2004, Euro 2008, and at the 2006 World Cup. Although he didn't win a trophy with the national team, he was an indispensable striker for over a decade.
After retiring, he focused on coaching. He worked with youth teams, was an assistant with the national team, and in 2022, he took over the first team of the club where he had previously enjoyed success as a player. He won the national cup in his first season, but resigned from his position in May 2023.
Off the pitch, he leads a quiet family life. He has been with his partner for many years, with whom he is raising his children. He avoids the media and does not participate in scandals – he remains a symbol of sports discipline, humility and professionalism.

WHAT IF…? #2
Imagine one day you log into Football Team as usual. You think, "Okay, I'll do training, play card games, check out the club, and maybe chat." And then... you see a new message announcing a new tab: "CASINO." Everyone on Discord is going crazy:
"Hey, did you see that?! You can bet credits on matches!"
"Yoo, I won 500 credits playing roulette!"
And suddenly, Football Team changes beyond recognition. What would the game look like after such an update? What would happen to the economy, the teams, and - above all - the players? I'll try to present what it might look like
DAY ONE: Discord Chaos
The first day after the casino's launch would be a complete disaster. The Discord chat would explode. Some would brag about their winnings:
"I won 10,000 Credits! I'm buying the best undershirt on the market!"
Others would cry as if they'd lost promotion to the Ekstraklasa:
"Guys, I lost 15,000 Credits on roulette!"
The administration would have to immediately add a filter to block the word "borrow" in messages, because every other post would sound like a beg for alms. Where, of course, loans are prohibited.
What would such a casino look like?
Okay, let's imagine the options in a casino. There could be various mini-games:
1/ Roulette – you bet Euros or Credits, choose a color or number. If you hit, you win x2 or x10. If you don't, you're left with nothing.
2/ Blackjack – a regular card game, but instead of cards, you get football emotes (e.g., a ball = 10 points, a whistle = 5 points).
3/ One-Armed Bandit – you pull the lever and pray for three footballs or three Football Team stars to be drawn.
4/ "Card War for Money" mode – a card duel with another player, but the loser gives their bet to the winner.
The first effects of the casino
At first, it would be great. Everyone would be excited. Players who normally had 500 Credits would suddenly spin the roulette and make 5,000. "Easy money, life like a fairy tale!"
But after a week, it would start to get ridiculous.
1/ Inflation like in Venezuela
Suddenly, everyone has millions of euros because one lucky spin and you're rich. Market prices are skyrocketing. New legendary boots? 10,000 credits. A platinum t-shirt? 20,000. And someone will buy it anyway, because "I won blackjack."
2/ Bankrupts
On the other hand, the "Gambling Guys" appear. A guy logs in, loses everything at roulette, and suddenly has zero euros, zero credits, and won't even train because he doesn't feel like it.
3/ A New Type of Player – the "Casino Guy"
Instead of training, playing cards, or developing a club, these players are in the casino 24/7. The club chat is empty because the captain is playing duels for money with randoms. "Hey, can someone set the tactics for the match?" – and then silence, because everyone is trying to win at roulette.
Clubs are turning into a warehouse of casino resources.
Now imagine what happens to clubs. Normally, the captain collects money for training or match bonuses. But now? The captain comes up with an idea:
"Hey, we'll throw the entire club budget into the casino, and if we win, we'll have money for the stadium and bonuses for the year!"
And of course, he ends up losing it all on red in roulette. The club goes bankrupt, players leave, and a new thread appears on the forum:
"[DISCUSSION] Ban the gambling in FootballTeam – urgently needed!"
New memes and drama
The Football Team community loves drama, so imagine what would happen:
Screenshots of wins: "Look, 10 million Euros from a single spin!"
Screenshots of losses: "RIP 10,000 Credits, mourning until the end of the season"
New memes: Lewandowski spinning roulette instead of scoring goals.
There would be a special channel on Discord called "#casino-failures" where people would post their biggest blunders.
Casino Events
The administration could go even further and organize special events:
"Double Win Weekend" – roulette gives double the prize.
"Card War for Money with the Admin" – you play against the admin and if you beat them, you get 5,000 credits.
"Gamblers' Tournament" – whoever wins the most during the week gets special prizes.
How would this affect match tactics?
Normally, players focus on training and building their stats. But with the introduction of the casino?
Instead of training, people would be at the casino.
Matches lost by forfeit because half the team is on the roulette.
Tactics? "Let's play ultra-offensive, maybe we'll get lucky... like in a casino."
Psychological effect
Adding a casino would captivate people like nothing else. Football Team would turn into a mix of football manager and… Las Vegas.
Players wouldn't log in to play matches, but to see if they'd get lucky at roulette today. "Training? Ugh, later. First I spin the roulette!"
After a month the situation would get out of control.
A forum full of threads: "Remove the casino, you've wasted the game's potential!"
Admins would have to react.
Admins would have to introduce limits: for example, a maximum of 10 spins per day.
Could a casino be a good idea?
Okay, but if done wisely, a casino could even be a cool addition. How?
1/ Cosmetic rewards – instead of winning euros/credits, you could earn new skins or packs, for example.
2/ Casino only for event points – so it doesn't disrupt the economy.
3/ Team mini-games – e.g. the team bets together on the match result and if they hit, everyone gets a training bonus.
Summary
Adding a casino to Football Team would be a disaster and a comedy all in one.
On the one hand, people would have fun like never before – memes, winnings, drama in the chat.
On the other: bankruptcies, inflation, and teams ruined by gambling.
Will the administration do it? Probably not. But to imagine such an update is pure entertainment.
And you?
Imagine logging in tomorrow and seeing the "Casino" tab in the menu. What do you do?
Are you off to spin roulette?
Or do you close your laptop because you're afraid of losing all your credits?

THE RETURN OF TRICK DUELS?
Dear Readers,
Since the removal of the Trick Duel mode, have you ever wondered what it would be like to have it back in the game? It's been a while since Trick Duels were permanently replaced with Card Duels.
Do they do a better "job" than tricks? What were players more likely to play? I don't know... Although I have a guess :) My name is Andrzejek, and I'd like to invite you, dear reader, to check out my article for the next issue of Sports Journal. Let's get started!
Remember trick duels? A mode that didn't require any money, just time. Time spent playing and figuring out the next combination to improve your tricks. Do you miss this? To be honest, I kind of do, and I'll explain why.
Card duels have undoubtedly livened up the experience of playing FootballTeam, because whenever there is something new, it is always cool, interesting and often worth checking out. There could be a long discussion about whether this was a good or bad decision regarding the change, but it is what it is. If I had to point out just one downside to the introduction of cards, it would be the slots, which gave P2W players an incredible boost to their OVR, at least from the very beginning. It's true that many players can boast of a rich deck of cards at this point, but I believe that a large percentage of them haven't chosen a shortcut. It's not that anyone shouldn't buy a deck, but the obvious fact is that if the option exists, it can be used whether you agree or not.
The introduction of cards is, in my opinion, a perfect move, thanks to the collection of cards that came with them. The ability to collect cards in FootballTeam reminds me of my teenage years when my friends and I collected cards of our favorite footballers and others.
Returning to the main point of my article today, I have one question for you: would you, as players, welcome the return of trick duels? In my opinion, such a move would be a very good one, considering that an additional mode in this game wouldn't harm anyone. The ability to play in a f2p mode based solely on randomness, with tricks trained to the maximum level, would give anyone the chance to triumph at the end of the week or the entire season, regardless of the player's OVR level. Would I change the gameplay mode in any significant way? Not necessarily, although it would certainly be good to refresh the graphics so that it would be something new to the eye.
I believe that bringing back such a f2p mode could have a positive impact on card duels and increase the number of players in this mode. Anyone who plays card duels season after season knows exactly what I'm talking about, as the number of opponents is decreasing, not increasing. So how would I see the hours for these trick duels being played? The natural thing about all this is that card duels will be prioritized. Why? Because they generate profit, and that's normal. Trick duels could be played during quick card duels, or both modes could be timed so that players don't have to choose between which one they want to play.
In my opinion, adding another mode to the game would be a great idea, considering it doesn't require much effort to make it all work together. You just have to want it! That's all for today's light-hearted article. Let me know in the comments what you think and whether you like this idea or would do it differently :D
with Football greetings,
Andrzejek

BORAT IS TALKING NONSENSE!
Good day, dear readers of the sports magazine!
Today, probably not about anything specific, but just to chat about various things that some may find nonsense, while others might find something useful and interesting. Let’s talk a lot about the ROYAL server and reminisce a little in a nostalgic way about the greener grass from the past, and also fantasize a bit.
Not long ago, the second season ended on the ROYAL server, which means the first rewards in the form of credits were distributed.
Not to boast, but to clarify my position, I announce that your humble servant became a happy recipient of one of the awards - specifically for winning the cup.
Winning the cup gives the smallest amount of credits, but firstly, it’s much better than nothing; secondly, it was quite pleasant to receive 2k+ credits, which may not be huge, but are never unwanted.
And so, we liked it so much that our appetite came while eating. The cup is no longer enough, and we want to go for something more serious.
The truth is, it turned out that now it’s impossible to break into the Super League; all the spots are reserved by the Poles.
I’m certainly surprised by their enthusiasm and organization. They opened a Russian server - they organized, captured the Super League, and held it by all means (including transferring top players to weaker teams) just to keep everyone else out, even though back then there weren’t any special benefits from participating in the Super League except for image prestige. It took a long time to knock them out, and again, they constantly united among themselves there, promoting the principle: not all Polish clubs are in the Super League, so let’s stay at the top. And they did, for quite a long time. It’s very hard to uproot someone from a club here - we really love to plant our roots deep.
The merged server was the same... It seemed that players from the Russian server came with some enthusiasm, which quickly ran out, and honestly, they couldn’t organize into competitive teams properly (with a small and brief exception in the form of Berkut). Many strengthened themselves with Polish top players, which ultimately was more of a disadvantage than an advantage.
And now there’s a new server again, with new rules and features, and Russian-speaking players are essentially out of the game, scattered here and there somehow, while the Poles are at the top. It’s even a bit disappointing somewhere.
In general, if there’s any hope, it’s only for the Champions League. But there are risks here too. You can fall into several traps, and I don’t know which is worse. You might not reach the required spot and end up third or fourth, effectively going nowhere (I don’t count the Europa League since it no longer gives credits). Or you could get into the Champions League but fail to get out of the group. And the competition there will be fierce. It’s unlikely anyone goes to the Champions League just like that - everyone goes expecting to get out of the group to earn credits, which, by the way, will be three times more than for the cup. And as I write this, my palms are sweating... I want to try my strength there, especially where there is competition, where everyone wants it and everyone needs it.
Honestly, I really miss this on Legacy. I also missed it lately on the Russian server. Probably it’s justified that new servers are opening, because when the OVR difference is astronomical, there’s no talk of any real competition, and here it’s a fresh breath of air, plus an exclusive format on ROYAL.
I don’t know if my expectations will come true or will remain just mine. Partly this season will answer that question, as we’ll see how fierce the battle for getting out of the group will be - or if it won’t be fierce at all. In any case, we’ll see!

ROYAL SERVER: FINDING NEW TEAMS: FOXES
Your weekly source of sports information and entertainment, Sports Diary #52, brought to you by our team of journalists! Hello everyone. I'm continuing my project as a FT journalist, this time dedicated to a new team on the ROYAL server, FOXES. The leader of this incredible squad is MORPHI88, who is supported by two assistants: CIT4K and WEDROWYCZ. These three active players manage the club perfectly, allowing it to continue growing and improving.
This new team has only played since ROYAL Season 1, playing in the Italian First Division. In Season 1, they played 30 league matches, winning 20, drawing 1, and losing 9, scoring 126 goals and conceding 54.
Foxes is looking to finish first in the league and secure a place in the top spots of the First Division in its third season. It has managed to reach the top each season, bringing in new players who improve its team play. Right now, it's in the top 18, a very good position for its third season. It's definitely doing very well, and will surely continue to improve over time.
Current Season:
Right now, with five matches played, it's in fourth place, the result of four wins and two losses, with 28 goals scored and 14 conceded, sharing fourth place with two other teams (Frostborn Wolves and GKS Bledzew), but remaining in the top four on goal difference. This team is likely to be promoted and could enter the European Cup.
How do you think this season will end? Will they improve? Will they finish in the top four? Surely they will! This team is celebrating with their 1,234 OVR points and are playing in the European Cup. At the time of writing this article, they are playing two European Cup matches and winning both matches. They are top of their group with 6 points, 3 points ahead of the second-place team (and Zimbru Chișinău with 3 points each).
Tactics:
FOXES tends to play in a 3-4-1-2 formation with a creative tactic, which is impressive and effective in their matches. In this formation, you can see a good balance in all areas of the field. At first glance, it seems like the midfield is combative, with four players with good OVR levels, but the fact that these midfielders are very strong, combined with the help of a CAM, makes the midfield very solid.
In addition to this, they have three very solid defenses, but they sometimes falter, especially in matches against teams of equal or higher level, and a strong attack, all driven by the attacking midfielder and the tactics they use, which are very offensive. In conclusion, it's a good formation for the team, with a good balance in all areas. This is the reason why they have achieved good results in the current third season.
Star Players:
Like every team, there are star players, and FOXES has several who carry the team forward and stand out from the rest. Some of these are Minister Obrony (DFC from 1998), CIT4K (MC from 1330), MORPHI88 (MC from 1566), and Wedrowycz (LTD from 1532).
As I mentioned before, this team has a balanced formation and strong players in every position, making it very competitive and balanced in every aspect. Of all these players, the one who stands out the most is MINISTER OBRONY, a player who grows with time and who has impressive stats that will surely attract the attention of other teams.
MINISTER OBRONY:
MINISTER OBRONY is a marvelous CENTRAL DEFENDER who has only played for three seasons, which is impressive given his ranking achieved in such a short time. Without a doubt, he is an above-average player who will continue to grow, and the best teams on the server will surely want him.
In addition to his ranking and bright future in the game, he has impressive offensive skills, great efficiency, set-piece skills, stamina, and even his reading ability. He is a very complete player in every aspect, which translates into impeccable performance on the court.
At this point in season three, he has played two matches with one intervention. If we count all competitions this season, he has played three matches with three saves, and in his entire playing career, he's made 81 matches, scored three goals, assisted one, 44 saves, and received only one yellow card—which is impressive!
Leave us your predictions for this team's future in the comments. See you next time.

ROAD TO GLORY: DOMESTIC CUPS HEAT UP WITH GOALS AND DOMINANT FAVORITES
The Domestic Cups have returned in full force for Season 3, and the first chapters of this journey toward glory have already been written — with goals, historic performances, and clear signs of who’s ready to fight for the trophy. Across all regions, the giants made strong debuts, but underdogs are also lurking. Here's a complete overview of the Round of 16 in each country:
Poland – DziadziaDream lea ds the charge for a second title
The Polish edition kicked off with thrilling matches and brilliant performances. The biggest highlight of the opening round was the current champion, DziadziaDream, who left no room for doubt and delivered a crushing 7–0 victory. With such a dominant showing, the dream of back-to-back titles is more alive than ever. Other top contenders also secured their places in the Round of 16, setting the stage for high-level clashes in the next rounds. The stage is set, and the battle for national glory is heating up.
England – BOSMAN FC begins title defense with authority
In the land of the King, the atmosphere is all about revenge and ambition. BOSMAN FC, last season’s champion, quickly confirmed its favoritism by comfortably securing a spot in the Round of 16. But the road to the top won’t be easy. FC Hienas, G2 Esports, and Club Atlético Tembetary also started strong, promising thrilling battles ahead. The throne is occupied, but many contenders are ready to take it by force.
Italy – Big names advance and raise the stakes
In Italy, the show began with matches full of excitement. The traditional Bianconeri showed their strength, while FURIOUS and Paris FC also secured their spots in the Round of 16 with authority. Teams like Czarna Kompania and Tavriya Simferopol surprised and proved that the Cup can bring twists and turns. The competition promises intense chapters ahead, with many favorites and no room for mistakes.
Spain – Blazing debuts and a tight race ahead
The Spanish scene is pure dynamism. Right from the opening round, Klub Miłośników Piwa, Orzeł Łódź, and FC Jurmala showed they came to fight, achieving solid wins in their respective matches. Despite the blowouts, the overall balance between teams points to a Cup full of challenges and games decided by small details. Expect unpredictable clashes where consistency might be the key to reaching the final.
Germany – Favorites deliver, but the fight will be fierce
In Germany, all eyes were on the powerful Энерг Луницого Клыка, who didn’t disappoint and crushed Rangers FC with an emphatic 6–0 win. But they're not alone. Brasil B, Golden Hawks, and Memento Mori also remain in the competition and proved they have the squads to dream big. The rivalry is fierce, and every match promises to be a true battle for survival.
France – B13 FC firmly aims for a second title
On French soil, B13 FC began their title defense with a solid 3–0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk. The team showed balance between offense and defense, making it clear they have no intention of giving up their throne. Teams like Los Angeles Clickers, La Granja II, and SOM JESZCZE GORSI also made winning debuts and are ready to challenge the reigning champions. The race for the title is wide open, and any slip could be costly.
Turkey – Poland Team dominates and emerges as a strong contender
In Turkey, all eyes turned to Poland Team, who delivered an impressive 7–3 aggregate win over Górnik Zabrze. That powerful performance places them among the top favorites for the title. Other standouts from the round include Arka Gdynia, Cosa Nostra Academy, and Atlético Yacaré, who also advanced with ease and made it clear they're in the fight for the trophy.
Russia – Losie w Kosmosie crushes and commands respect
The start of the Cup in Russia was marked by an unforgettable performance from Losie w Kosmosie, who thrashed Executors with a brutal 8–0 win. The impressive victory sent a clear message to the competition: this team is determined to win it all. BvB Dortmund, La Laguna Tenerife SAD, and FC Orły Zachodu also showed strength and remain firm in the race. With so many strong names still alive, the competition promises intense emotions until the final whistle.
With the first round complete, the main contenders have made their mark and shown they’re ready for war. But in tournaments as unpredictable as the Domestic Cups, one misstep can be fatal. The road to the title is long, and the upcoming chapters promise intense showdowns, decisions in the finest margins, and unexpected heroes. The race for the trophy is just getting started, but it’s already given us plenty of reasons to expect an epic season.

THE 10,000-HOUR MASTERY IN A FOOTBALL TEAM!
Hello, players, strategists, and dreamers of the Football Team Game! Get ready for an article that unites the science of success with the passion of virtual pitches. This week, we will not only unveil the famous "10,000-Hour Theory" but also celebrate the first team to transcend this barrier on the Royal Server: STARA GWARDIA, a feat that now becomes the holy grail for all its pursuers in the Superliga!
The 10,000-Hour Theory: The Map to Excellence
Have you ever wondered what truly separates the good from the legendary? The answer might lie in the "10,000-Hour Theory." Popularized by Malcolm Gladwell in his 2008 book "Outliers: The Story of Success," this idea is not just a magic number, but an invitation to dedication.
Gladwell based his work on research by Swedish psychologist K. Anders Ericsson, who delved deep into the performance of elite violinists. The conclusion? Virtuosos had accumulated around 10,000 hours of deliberate practice by the age of 20. It wasn't just "playing"; it was practicing with surgical focus, seeking continuous improvement and feedback to refine every note, every movement.
The essence of the theory is clear: deliberate and consistent practice, over a significant period, is the most crucial factor in achieving excellence. It's not enough to just "play"; you need to practice with a purpose, seeking challenges that push you out of your comfort zone and refining every skill. It's repetition with intelligence, the relentless pursuit of perfection that, in the end, transforms the amateur into a master.
STARA GWARDIA: The Theory on the Field (and in Pixels)!
And if the theory tells us that 10,000 hours lead to mastery, STARA GWARDIA is living (and pixelated) proof that it works on virtual pitches! This team, which competes in the Superliga, the Champions Tournament, and the French League 1, has not only reached but surpassed the 10,000 OVR (Overall Rating) mark, an achievement that echoes like a perfect goal in Football Team history. They didn't just read the mastery manual; they rewrote it with victories and spectacular performance!
Under the leadership of president Santa Muerte, and with C1n3k37 and Nabuchodonozor II as assistants, STARA GWARDIA has demonstrated overwhelming dominance on all fronts:
- SuperLeague: In the elite, the team holds second place. With only 2 games played in Season 3, they already have 2 wins, with an impressive 11 goals scored and none conceded. It seems their goal has a force field!
- Champions Tournament: Leading Group 3 with authority, STARA GWARDIA has accumulated 3 wins in 3 games, with 17 goals scored and, again, none conceded. If defense is the best offense, theirs is an impenetrable bunker.
- French League 1: After 6 rounds played, the team is in second place, with a perfect campaign of 6 wins, 37 goals scored, and, believe it or not, no goals conceded. Opponents must be wondering if their goalkeeper is a hologram!
The Pillars of Mastery: Individual Highlights
Behind these stratospheric numbers are talents who embody deliberate practice and the pursuit of excellence:
- DarQM: The team's top scorer in all three competitions. DarQM doesn't just shoot; he aims. Every touch on the ball seems to have a built-in GPS, finding the back of the net with a precision that would make any rocket engineer envious.
- Pero KST: The goalkeeper who, so far, doesn't know what it's like to concede a goal. He doesn't make saves; he performs miracles. If there's an award for the most bored goalkeeper of the season, Pero KST is the clear favorite.
- Santa Muerte: Besides being president, he's the thinking brain of the midfield. With sweet passes and a game vision worthy of a military strategist, he dictates the team's rhythm and disarms opposing defenses.
- Wojdył OW and BaSSieK: The great defensive walls. This duo is more solid than reinforced concrete. They don't just mark; they nullify. Opposing strikers must have nightmares about these two.
STARA GWARDIA's journey is an inspiring reminder that, in a Football Team, dedication and deliberate practice truly pay off. They haven't just reached the elite; they are redefining it. May their ascent serve as motivation for all teams seeking glory and the top of the rankings. After all, mastery is not a gift, but an achievement forged in 10,000 (or more!) hours of sweat and strategy.
See you next time, with more stories of stars and clubs that make Football Teams a spectacle!
