MELCHESTER ROVERS - DEVILS UNITED MATCH REPORT

While looking for interesting matches to describe, I came across a match at the second level of the game. In the Polish 2A, Melchester Rovers are at risk of relegation, which on 13.02.2025 began the second series of games with a home match against DeVilS United.

In 15 matches, the hosts of the match scored only 10 points, placing ex aequo below the line with teams such as FC Spartak Moscow and RKS CHUWDU. 

Thursday evening did not look particularly optimistic for Melchester, because they were to face DeVilSami - a club whose ID could be dusted off, although it has not been a brand that counts in the fight for the highest goals for a long time. This season, they are a solid average team in their league, mainly due to their defense, where the leader is the immortal and outstanding in these games Szydek.

That Melchester would have problems in attack in this match became clear at the very beginning of the match, when Danielowskis made a successful save in the 3rd minute. In the next quarter of an hour, this DeVilS defender made 2 more interceptions, clearly taking away the opponents' will to play.

In Szydek's absence, ŁysyPazdan and Scolari1337 also showed themselves in the defense ranks. The hosts suffered and cried in the attack, and the guests played with the idea of ​​"as long as there's 0 at the back, and something will always go in up front".

And it did. In the 37th minute, Defensor999's cross was blocked by Sebinho at the far post. The DeVilS United striker got ahead of the defender and beat the Melchester goalkeeper with a confident shot. 0:1!

I won't say that the hosts didn't try to make up for the losses. What good is it, since the visitors had their penalty area cemented for a long time, and the trio of Scolari, Danielowskis and ŁysyPazdan were repeatedly taking the ball away from the feet of Melchester's attackers. Suffice it to say that by the 75th minute they had recorded 12 interventions. However, the last quarter of the match came and the skates were unfastened.

Danielowskis, who had been playing a great match so far, must be called the unlucky one in the last 15 minutes. Namely, in the aforementioned 75th minute he averted the danger with an effective intervention, but the ball went out for a corner kick. Joe Cole threw in from the corner, and his pass was converted into the goal by Frank Lampard. 1:1!

Barely 10 minutes later, the hosts were already in the lead. The referee did not see a foul on Danielowskis and allowed Melchester's action. Iciao passed to Павлючeнко, and the striker completed the formalities, putting his team in the lead. 2:1 and 5 minutes to the end of the match!

The home fans were in euphoria, because they had rarely been able to celebrate their team's victories this season. However, fate was not so kind to their fanatical hearts. The referee was already raising the board with the number of minutes added to the end of the match and the fans could count down the seconds until the final whistle, when Perlix scored a goal for the Melchester goalkeeper and, incidentally, a knife in the fans' hearts. DeVilS equalized at the very end of the match!

However, the game was played to the end, which the Melchester players took to heart. After the restart, they kicked the ball as hard as they could under the visitors' goal and tried to do something with it there. However, Danielowskis was on the spot and with an effective intervention prevented a dangerous action, although the ball went out for a corner kick...

Sound familiar? Of course, it wouldn't be interesting if it didn't happen. For the second time after Danielowski's intervention, the ball is thrown in from a corner kick, which is converted into a goal - this time by Промес 10! 

End of the match, Melchester wins 3:2 and gets out of the relegation zone! Unlucky match: Danielowskis. Normally, he would be star material - a lot of interventions, he eliminated every offensive impulse of the opponents. He became the curse of the Melchester attackers. In an alternative reality, he would take all the opponents' offensive players out of his pocket after the match, because that's where he hid them during the match. Well, a massacre, simply. Except that until the 75th minute. Later, he was involved in losing 3 goals. It's not that he was a masterful failure, but he kicked out for a corner kick twice, from which goals were later scored, and once he lost the ball to the opponents and although the referee could have blown the whistle, he didn't. The counterattack went and the ball landed in the net.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF “CLASSIC” PLAYERS #4.

It's Wednesday again, which means it's time for the next issue of Sports Journal to be released! Goals, assists or interventions, as well as medals, cups and other awards are something that almost every FootballTeam player likes. Despite the fact that they are often accompanied by awards that are inadequate to the trophy won, it is still worth making sure that the display case with the player's achievements does not stand empty. I am Andrzejek, and I invite you, dear reader, to check out my next article. Let's begin!

Byk z Pampeluny

Often resembling a sumo wrestler, a moderator for special tasks or just an ordinary good-natured Byk - he is a center defender and the owner of a Super League team called Izba Wytrzeźwień. The well-known and loved Bull, as is his custom, tries his chances at every current server, but today I will check for you how he copes on a Classic server. As you can easily guess, he is a typical player of one club, and the basic line-up is something normal for him. It's time to see how it looks in numbers:

League: 12G/0A and 64 interventions in 93 matches

CT/ET: 1G/0A and 30 interventions in 18 matches
NC: 3G/0A and 8 interventions in 10 matches
Friendlies: 13G/2A and 59 interventions in 113 matches

which gives a total of 29 goals, 2 assists and 161 interventions in 234 appearances. For a mid-range player, I think that these numbers are OK, especially when we look at the number of interventions, although it is also worth remembering that this player likes set pieces and is particularly dangerous in front of the opponent's goal. As for medals and other awards for individual achievements, we will not find such in Byk’s case.

So let's move on to the achievements he and his teammates managed to achieve:

Byk, as the owner of the club, should definitely make sure that next season his team plays in the 1st league, because as you can see from the trophies, that is their place.

Gdudi

Gdudi is currently playing  for Unicorn Team, although so far he played his entire career in the Check Engine club, which has disbanded. What is the reason that the "engine light" is no longer active? Let me know in the comments! 

But back to the topic of the article, Gdudi is a central midfielder who certainly has a lot of experience playing in FootballTeam, because I remember him  from another server. How is he doing in his new colors? It will be hard to check at the moment, but the main theme of this series is to examine his entire career so far. How does it look in numbers?

League: 34G/112A in 102 matches
CT/ET: 3G/12A in 14 matches
LC: 0G/10A in 7 matches
Friendlies: 28G/85A in 103 matches

which gives a total of 65 goals and 219 assists in 226 appearances. For a central midfielder of this class, these are really good numbers, especially when you look at assists. Unlike his predecessor Byk, Gdudi has a medal for being the third best midfielder in the English league in season three. What trophies did he win when Check Engine still played its matches?

I am very surprised that a team with such achievements fell apart. However, in the world of FootballTeam, it often happened that teams from the absolute top suddenly went their separate ways. KamyK

KamyK is not only a striker, but also the owner and best player of the Redburn team. After such a combo, the numbers of such a player are certainly impressive, but are they really? Before we get to that, let's first see if we can find any medals in his private display case to confirm my suspicions. KamyK, dear readers, is a two-time top scorer in the Italian first division, who won the awards in his third and fourth seasons. So what do his numbers look like?

League: 226G/65A in 110 matches
CT/ET: 16G/8A in 20 matches
LC: 20G/5A in 15 matches
Friendlies: 137G/57A in 96 matches

which gives a total of 399 goals and 135 assists in 241 appearances. The numbers are definitely good, but in the whole series of articles they are not the best numbers when it comes to strikers. It is worth noting that we should not take away from KamyK's ability to score goals. What does his club showcase look like?

In his club career, he managed to win only 2 modest trophies for second place in the 1st Italian league. I wish KamyK successful transfers, which will translate into a large club showcase!

THE GIANT OF THE SEAS THAT HAUNTS THE FIELDS

In the Football Team universe, some teams carry with them not only a name, but an identity that evokes grandeur and fear. This is the case of Megaladon, a club that, inspired by the legendary prehistoric shark Megalodon, seeks to devour its opponents with the same voracity as the marine colossus that became extinct millions of years ago.

Megaladon, whose name means "giant tooth", was a supreme predator of the oceans between 23 and 3.6 million years ago. With an impressive 20 meters in length and teeth that exceeded 18 centimeters, it was a true machine of destruction, reigning supreme over the deep waters. Now, in a new arena — that of the virtual fields — Megaladon seeks to replicate this sovereignty.

Rise and Achievements

Since its debut in the game, in season 26, Megaladon has been accumulating titles and leaving its mark. The club has lifted three trophies in lower divisions throughout its history:

Champion of the Spanish Third Division A (Season 28)

Champion of the Russian Third Division B (Season 31)

Champion of the Ukrainian Fourth Division A (Season 42)

BETTOR MASTER'S EYES

In recent editions, the main topic was the market and the activities of players considered to be typical FootballTeam traders. In today's edition, I am heading towards the bettor and issues related to it. This module has been devoid of major changes for a long time, it is hard to find new faces there who want to fight for victory, and many players have given up this activity due to profitability, because the odds often seem too low, and the earnings and possible loss in relation to the profit are often not worth the risk.

In addition, the training costs, especially on the Legacy server, for most players are already counted in billions per day, and from the bettor alone and these 13 tips it is often difficult to win even half of this amount. That is why I decided to ask probably the most decorated player in this module - Milaninho, what he thinks about the current situation regarding the bettor.

What is your opinion on the current bettor format, what would you change in it to encourage more players to actively tip?

The current format of the bettor is quite simple, but it differs significantly from the previous one, I mean different odds. You have to play the top bettor completely differently, what counts is mainly effectiveness, it used to be easier to make up for losses in the top week.

Certainly, changing the format, expanding the option of betting on matches would have a positive impact on the competition and encourage players who do not do it now.

How do you assess the current prizes in the bettor, what would you change from the current prizes and what would you leave?

The prizes are definitely good, but this mainly concerns only the first place. They certainly help with development, you also have to remember that these prizes are currently worse than they used to be, because there is no longer a champion tipster package, from which you could also squeeze some credits.

The champion bettor skin is definitely unnecessary, for someone who has won at least once, the other prizes are useful, because they are resources useful for development in the game.

After the changes, you can bet for a maximum of 50 million euros on one bet, do you think that a larger amount should be possible to bet?

Of course, yes, because it is the player who decides how much they risk, considering that everyone probably often has limited options with euros. It is like with bookmakers, there is a minimum stake, but the higher one should be much more extensive. Players would certainly be more willing to participate in the bettor if they could earn a bit more euros while competing for the top.

Do you think it should be possible to make AKO bets, thanks to which the odds would multiply and there would be a chance to win more euros?

Great idea! I am all for it. If it were well organized, it would definitely bring a lot of freshness to the competition. You could also do something like "BetBuilder", i.e. the ability to bet on more options from the same match per bet, e.g. the number of goals, who will win, handicap, or the number of cards in the match, although this last one is more of a lottery element.

Would you like to see club bettor games and what do you think they should look like?

Club games in the bettor are also a very good idea, the only question is how will it be calculated?

Count the tips of the entire club together? It may be a bit unfair, because not everyone has 20 players in the squad, there are clubs that have fewer people or inactive players, so if you added everything, such clubs would have a bit more difficulty from the start, and it would be good to do it so that everyone has the same chances. Maybe the top 11 best results of players from the week can be added up from clubs? This is definitely an issue for detailed analysis, when organizing such games. Also, a premium assistant is needed to have 13 tips, so for the duration of such games everyone should have the possibility of 13 tips

As a player who has the most of these wins, and a lot of experience with bookmakers, I am willing to help the administration in this matter.

Many players have been demanding changes and novelties in this module for a long time. I think that since the administration has plans for changes in the games, it would also be the perfect time to change something in the bettor. In my opinion, after the revolution, it would be worth leaving only matches from the 1st leagues and all cups for prediction.

I also think that an interesting solution could be to divide the bettor into two tables. One would be seasonal, which would include only bets from cup competitions and in which we would have winners once every 30 days. The second one could be strictly dedicated to the league and take place in the current format, but it would only include league bets, excluding cup ones.

БОРАТ REVEALS THE CONSPIRACY!

Good day, dear readers of the best sports magazine!

This week, there was an extremely interesting event in the Spanish league - or rather, not one, but two! However, in order to fully understand these events, we must first introduce you to the details.

Before the start of the season in the first Spanish league, the balance of power looked like this:

Main favorite - FC ParaBellum - 11th server team with an average OVR of 11,307.

Main rival - Спартак - 12th server team with an average OVR of 10,701.

Second rival - Coś niecoś - 14th server team with an average OVR of 9,312.

Of course, these values ​​may change depending on the development of the teams, but they roughly reflect the current balance of power.

First of all, I apologize for inadvertently becoming a participant in the events described, but I am not writing about my club here - I am only mentioning it.

The balance of power clearly showed that FC ParaBellum and Спартак would focus on each other, and Coś niecoś would focus on Спартак. And that's exactly what happened – there were no surprises.

The first direct match was played between Coś niecoś and Спартак. Thanks to the scythe bonus, Coś niecoś got closer to Спартак in terms of OVR, although it was still significantly behind, especially in the midfield.

Despite this, the match result was 2:1 for Coś niecoś, with a 4:9 shot ratio in Спартак favor!

"It happens," you might think. And indeed, sometimes it does.

Then Спартак and FC ParaBellum drew – there was nothing particularly surprising here. But then there was the FC ParaBellum vs. Coś niecoś match. This time, Coś niecoś without the scythe bonus faced the mighty FC ParaBellum. They should have been crushed... or should they?

But no! Coś niecoś won again - this time 4:2, despite the fact that the shot ratio was 6:10 in favor of FC ParaBellum!

There is one more small thing - Спартак and FC ParaBellum are Russian-speaking teams, and Coś niecoś is a Polish-speaking team. After these two ambiguous matches, the legend of the "Polish bonus" that supposedly gives Polish-speaking teams an advantage over Russian-speaking teams was revived in the corridors!

Do you agree that two such strange matches in three days are a great opportunity to speculate about conspiracy theories?

Do you want to know my opinion? I think it is partly a coincidence, and partly a certain regularity.

Apart from a bit of luck, it should be noted that Coś niecoś has an incredibly strong goalkeeper – Acziwment, which is rare in the first league. Their opponents have solid goalkeepers, but they are not as scary. In addition, their offensive midfielder is in great shape and dominates the league thanks to his excellent skills in taking set pieces.

On the other hand, their opponents had problems in attack! In Спартак the striker was... me - and compared to SSOHUGO it is a huge gap. In FC ParaBellum, if I remember correctly, due to injury they were without offensive midfielder Evgenio Mazza.

So we have a simple picture of the situation:

Weaker strikers vs. strong goalkeeper, vs. strong striker and average goalkeepers. The midfielders did their job, and the rest belonged to specific players.

That's how I see it. "Polish bonus" does not exist - this has been proven many times in other similar matches that ended unfavourably for Polish-speaking teams, even though "on paper" and according to statistics they should have won.

I myself remember matches in which we won against theoretically much stronger teams, firing only one shot against 7-8 opponents. But people always look for simple explanations for their failures. And a conspiracy? A conspiracy is a very convenient explanation.

Although... at the end, an interesting fact:

The cup match Спартак - Coś niecoś ended with a score of 0:1, even though the shot ratio was 9:1 in favour of Спартак.

We still have one more round and two more matches ahead of us - we will be watching, because I myself am curious what will happen!
