Welcome to September Q&A!
In this series, we discuss planned and implemented changes. You’ll find answers to the questions asked on FootballTeam’s Discord server and in the comments section under the news posts. If you're interested in the further development of FOOTBALLTEAM, we encourage you to read on.
The past month has been a time of intense work. We completed 25 major tasks and 65 minor fixes and code updates for the game. All the described changes will be implemented at the next update - October 7, 2024.
This month, we finished two major modules. The first one is the long-awaited Card Module. We are adding 84 new Legend FootballTeam cards. The number of slots where you can place cards is increasing from 5 to 7. New card collections are being introduced, with new bonuses for your club, such as 100% more exp, a 15% reduction in enchantment costs, and a reduced Fame Points cost when enchanting cards. Existing collections have been updated with new cards, and we’ve rebalanced rewards in many collections. During the season, you can unlock up to two additional card slots.
The second major module is Augmentation. Now, the maximum effect you can achieve with regular crystals is 330%. The strongest boost to an item that you can get is up to 1000% of the base item's value when using Crystals of Success. In the new Augmentation system, you will need to unlock tiers to use increasingly powerful Crystals of Success. This is another step toward giving items more significance in gameplay.
The update will be implemented into the game on October 7, 2024.

💎 NEW Items:Standard items (Boots, Jersey, Shorts, and Socks) will now provide a specific percentage boost to the skill trained on that item. Example: If you have Platinum boots for stamina, you’ll receive an additional +3% to trained stamina. These percentages will stack. For example, having 4 Platinum base items for stamina will give you a 12% boost to trained stamina.

💎 Platinum Card Creation: Cards will be created by merging two identical level 5 legendary cards.
💎 Stance: This new feature allows players to temporarily boost a character during a match, likely for 5 ticks. It’s designed to promote in-game activity. Players can activate this option up to three times per match: the first activation is free, while the next two cost 0.5% of Chemistry + Energy per click.
💎 Club Manufacture: Adding a new building feature allowing clubs to craft and enchant items (Balls, Wristbands, Jerseys, etc.). This building will generate EURO for each club member, in addition to their salary/contract, whenever someone outside the club uses the Manufacture.
💎 Tactic: Changing tactics during a match will no longer reduce the team's power. You’ll have 6 free tactic changes per match. Any additional changes will deduct chemistry from all players involved, but this penalty will only apply after the match ends. This adjustment aims to prevent deliberate weakening of the club during matches and to encourage more strategic use of tactics.
💎 Bottle Buyback Module: We are considering introducing a module that would allow players to exchange excess drinks for useful resources, helping to reduce unnecessary items.
💎 Team Invitations: Adding the ability to send team invitations.
💎Dashboard: Adding information on the dashboard about the number of basic trainings and Training Centre sessions completed, making it easier to complete daily challenges.
💎 Training: Adding a training counter in Team Training.
💎 Training: Adding an active bonus counter in Team Training, which depends on the number of players participating in the training.
💎 Training: Team Training will regenerate between 25 to 1200 Energy depending on the building level. The Energy reward will be doubled when using the “Trainings Amount 2x” option.
💎 Training: Doubling the power of Team Training. At the maximum level, it will be 40 + 350 (previously it was 40 + 175). The 120% bonus (for the presence of 20 players), the 150% bonus (Team Training Drink V) and the 2x multiplier will remain unchanged and will multiply the training base as before.
💎 Beefs: Declaring an official “beef” with another team. This allows us to enable engagement to the maximum level in any match against that team without losing health. Moreover, a new bonus of 20% to trained PTS during a match with the conflicted team will be introduced.
💎 Polls: Introduction of pop-up polls available in the game.

1) Adding a system of polls displayed in-game (instead of in news or Discord).
2) Adding a rating system in support tickets. You will be able to rate the conversation, along with the option to leave a comment.
💎 Character Transfer: Development and addition of a module allowing the transfer of individual accounts between servers.
💎 Augmentation Rebalance: We believe that the current augmentation is disproportionate to the item enchantment. We feel that items are too weak compared to training and card slot bonuses. The module has been expanded so that the maximum augmentation bonus is now 1000% (10x, whereas the previous max enchantment was nearly 15x the base value).
💎 Manufacturing Module: Crafting items in the Manufacturing module now requires a certain level of upgrades of the club building.
💎 Positions: Rebalanced player strength based on the position they are playing. This change aims to prevent players from being deliberately placed in inappropriate positions. At the same time, we’ve strengthened the rotation power between defenders and defensive midfielders, as well as between forwards and attacking midfielders.
💎 Cards: You can now unlock a maximum of two card slots during a single season.
💎 Sound: Added sound effects to the card game module.
💎 EU Server Cards: New cards and collections, along with the expansion of existing collections.
💎 Cards: Due to the expansion of existing and new collections, two new slots have been added.
💎 Duels: Fixed the issue with duel limit regeneration after reaching the limit.
💎 Star Limit: Introduced a cap of 125 stars per account.
💎 Rewards: Added a marker showing which Daily Challenges’ rewards have been claimed.
💎 Club: Added information in the club tab indicating which players have or have not completed the Daily Calendar Challenges.
💎 Cards: Introduced a new Card Pack containing only new cards.
💎 Manufacturing: Reduced the crafting costs in Crystals of Success at the Manufacturing module – costs have been significantly lowered.
💎 Shop: Rebalanced the amount of Credits available in the Shop.
💎 Shop: Rebalanced the amount of ENERGY available for Credits in the Shop.
💎 Cards: Added a preview of skills when enchanting a card to a higher level at each stage.
💎 Shop: Special bundles will now be available not only for EURO but also Credits.
💎 Tasks: Added a marker for completed Daily Challenges.
💎 Translations: The landing page and the game are now fully translated into Turkish.
💎 Fixes: Implemented 40 minor fixes to improve game stability.
🔶 Training: We are holding off on the idea where the training bonus is calculated based on the current day. For now, this change will not be implemented.
🔶 Card Collections: Added a filter to search for specific rewards in card collections.
🔶 Cards: Added a button allowing players to skip their turn without playing a card.
On 07.10.2024, the long-awaited update of the Card Module will be introduced. Two new Card Packs will be added to the game.
🔸 Basic – whose content will be supplemented with all 84 new Legend FootballTeam cards.
🔸 Special – the pack will contain only 84 new Legend FootballTeam cards.
ATTENTION: The current Card Pack will be removed from the game on October 7, 2024. We encourage you to open all your packs until then!
🤔 GekonPSYCHOPATA: Hello. I think it would be useful to have a role in the club, such as a coach, who could change tactics and rotate the lineup as the third person in the club. Alternatively, it would be a good idea to allow two assistants.
We'll add this idea to the task list.
🤔 Alex Collier: I suggest that the Team Training Drink V can only be used once at a time to avoid accidental use.

🤔 Cristiano Ronaldo: Perhaps you'll like the idea of creating a Conference League that includes teams ranked 7-9 or 7-10 in the top league. This would give weaker teams the chance to compete for a trophy.
Currently, we don't have the capacity to expand and add another cup. Expanding the gameplay is a very complex process. Additionally, there needs to be time slots during the day for such matches to take place.
🤔 Gujaaa: I have a suggestion to add an additional friendly match so that the club has the option to schedule 2 friendlies.
Currently, it is not possible to add another friendly match. The day is already scheduled, and there's simply no space for it.
🤔 Vital: Will you introduce the ability to sell skins on the market for Credits?
We do not plan to make any changes in this module. Skins will always be tied to the player’s account, as they often reflect progress in the game or participation in competitions or individual achievements.
🤔 DarQ Mrokos: I propose adding a slider that would allow activating multiple drinks with one click. For example, instead of activating 30 drinks for 15 minutes one by one, you move the slider to 10 drinks and activate them all at once. Additionally, I suggest adding an option for quick opening of packs – the ability to skip the animation and show the results immediately.
In many cases, this would not be beneficial for the player, such as for training drinks. When you start a
120-minute training session, one drink is enough for the entire duration, so we don't see the utility of this solution.
As for quick opening of packs, we're considering this feature and will add it to the task list.
🤔 Luxus: Hi, will it be possible to transfer money from the warehouse to the club’s treasury?
We do not plan to make this change.

Hello! I have a suggestion about Team Training (TT). Most players use drinks to boost gains in TT and register their players using the x2 option for Credits. It often happens that some players wait until the end to sign up for TT because, as we know, with the maximum number of players, we get a nice bonus.
Heres my idea:

1) We have 20 players on the team.
2) The player who signs up for TT first gets a 20% bonus for training gains in TT.
3) The second player gets a 19% bonus.
4) And so on, until the twentieth player, who signs up last and gets the smallest bonus, which is 1%.
TT is a module where players are rewarded for their activity and cooperation with teammates. We are currently working on increasing the number of training sessions and Energy regeneration in this module. We believe these changes will significantly increase TT's attractiveness.
🤔 Maciej Zach: Hello! I would like to suggest an option for Free Keys. If someone doesn't have anything to use them on, they could exchange the keys for Energy, boosters, or even Euros.

🤔 GADREEL: Hi! My suggestion for the game is to introduce a reward for second place in domestic cups. It's difficult for some teams to get there, and a consolation prize could be motivating.

🤔 Robwit: Hello. Is it possible to introduce an option to automate the Cafeteria and Work modules, similar to auto-training? For example, when a player unlocks 20 positions in the Cafeteria, they could start all 20 at once with one click, giving 20x15 minutes = 300 minutes, without the need to click every 15 minutes. A similar solution could apply to the work module. This would be a big convenience for players who unlock the entire Cafeteria.
We will consider this option. It's possible that we will make this feature available for Season Pass holders.
🤔 Kenzoo7: Hello, when selling enchanted cards, the price is the same as for a basic card. Increasing the "recovery" value of such cards should be standard practice.

🤔 LAGHERTA: I would like to suggest creating a Supercup, where the winners of national cups would play against each other, starting with semifinals and then a final. It would be exciting and add more thrill to the competition.
We'll think about this, and it’s possible we will add it to the competitions.
🤔 Dyzia: Hello. Would it be possible to add a counter next to the training cost in Euros and the number of training sessions completed in the "Home" tab of the daily training summary, showing how much energy was used for these training sessions?

🤔 Igor Banaszek: Hi! I have a suggestion to introduce a "favorites" feature for items, similar to cards. Many players collect items to later exchange them in collections, but, for example, when exchanging for Crystals of Success in the Manufacturing module, it takes a long time to find the right items. A favorites feature would make item management easier.
Hi, thanks for this suggestion! We'll consider a system for marking items as favorites. For now, we'll add it to the waiting list for further analysis.
🤔 33dante: I propose introducing a Conference League, since we already have something like the Champions League and Europa League. The Conference League could be for slightly weaker teams. I hope this plan will be implemented in the near future.
Hi! Thanks for the idea. We hadn’t planned to add additional competitions for lower-tier clubs. The day already has a set number of hours for organizing matches, so we currently don’t see space for more competitions.

W przypadku kart mamy system sprzedaży kart za Punkty Sławy i nie planujemy żadnych zmian ani dodatków w tym temacie oprócz wymiany kart na wyższy tier.

We’ll consider adding a flag selection in the character tab or next to the player's nickname. As for assistants – we’ll add this to the task list in the near future.
🤔 Cecylia: Adding a tab with the history of credit earnings/spendings – my memory often leaves me wondering why I have more or fewer credits on my account.
Thanks for this suggestion! We’ll bring this up in our developer meeting. It’s possible we’ll add a tab, such as for the last 30 transactions or transactions from the past 7 days.

Doubling the power of Club Training. At the maximum level, it will be 40 + 350 (previously 40 + 175). The 120% bonus (for 20 players), 150% bonus (Team Cooperation Drink), and the 2x multiplier will remain unchanged and will still multiply the training base as before.
If you're considering such an update in this module, you also need to consider unlocking specialities because, with a larger training area (currently level 9), and using an 80% drink with 16 people in training, I gained 0.66 stamina (probably lost some due to locked specialization). Increasing the x2 bonus and adding a 120% bonus for 20 participants along with the x2 training option could lead to large numbers being lost. Another idea could be transferring unused training to another speciality within the same skill.
As for a new feature, a simple solution that could make items stronger is to apply upgrades not from the "base" item but from the item's total bonus, i.e., Base + enhancement + set bonus.

🤔 Helbula: When will you fix the game on iOS? It works worse than on my old Android phone. It's hard to click anything.

Official Account Market
For players who plan to stop playing but don't want to delete or abandon their accounts, a system could be created for selling accounts. A player interested in selling their account contacts the game administration, and the game would need a dedicated account marketplace. Values could be defined using credits, Euros, or a new currency, solely for this type of transaction.
Such a system exists in an online game I played for years – Tibia. A player who wants to stop playing contacts the administration and announces the sale of their account, which becomes visible on the Tibia site and is auctioned off for Tibia coins, a currency used exclusively for this transaction.
After the transaction, the game keeps a (smaller) part of the value, and the rest is transferred to the previous account owner.
Hey, thanks for your suggestion. At the moment, selling accounts violates our regulations and leads to account suspension. The idea is interesting, but we don’t plan to make changes in this area right now. If there are any updates, we’ll keep you informed.
🤔 Anderson Luis de Souza: Can you add the option to count extra time minutes in the Domestic Cup achievement, as it is also part of the match, so it should be counted?

Optymalizacja serwera i kodu gry to część pracy, którą wykonujemy co miesiąc. Nie zawsze o tym piszemy, ale jest to robione cały czas. Wprowadzamy większe i mniejsze poprawki praktycznie w każdym patchu.
🤔 S. Mobum: After each match, the player should receive a performance rating, to make the matches more exciting. Currently, you can't tell if a player is playing well or poorly.

Have you considered adding something like a "loan" option to another club, for example, for a whole season or until the end of the season, after which the player automatically returns to their original club without restarting the "Semper Fidelis" achievement (play in a club for..)?
In FootballTeam, we leave the players' choice of which club to play for. Therefore, we have to reject this idea.
🤔Boom Son:
Maybe it’s worth introducing player age? After crossing 30, the chance of a career-ending injury could increase with each season. After ending their career, the player is left with "father's" items and creates a new player, who, depending on the level/number of cups/success level in the previous career, receives an additional bonus for developing their new character (some training multiplier). I think if there are ambitious players who want to join the game at this stage and want to compete at the highest level – seeing players with OVRs above tens of thousands – they probably won’t even try because they don’t see a chance. I know it’s just a game, but it’s impossible to accumulate skill endlessly.

On October 7, you can expect new features on the S1 GLOBAL server. We believe that the pace of player development on the server should be faster, so we will make a number of permanent changes that will speed up gameplay, and make it easier to grow characters, train, or obtain items. We want the Speed server to actually live up to its name. The changes will be implemented in the next update.
CLASSIC SERVER TEASER: BACK TO THE ROOTS
Imagine a server where there are no Starter Packs and Event Bundles. Card Packs are not available for real currency, and Special Bundles (for OVR) can only be bought with Credits. Players produce resources themselves and sell them to other players or use them to develop their characters.
