NEWS FROM THE WORLD OF FOOTBALLTEAM

Dear readers,

A warm welcome to all readers! My name is Andrew Norbertson, and in this article, we will discuss the latest news in the world of FootballTeam. Our topics will include transfers, the 1/8 stage of the Champions Tournament, and the European Tournament. Please read on for more information.

TRANSFERS

In FootballTeam, transfers are a frequent occurrence as clubs strive to bolster their teams. However, it is no small feat to achieve this during the middle of the season. The owners of the clubs, THUNDER from the Super League and Polish DF from last season, have a different opinion and mood.

Polish DF finished last season in 4th place. However, they lost their best player C Lee in the final transfer window, which affected their performance. Currently, they are leading the 1st German league.

They have recently acquired a Refus player, considered one of the best defenders due to his experience at the highest level of the game with the Stiff Boys. It is worth mentioning that the Polish DF is a solid team. However, this transfer could bring them closer to winning the championship, the European Tournament and returning to the Super League.

Although the THUNDER team continues to play their matches at the highest level of the competition, their last season was not a successful one, as they finished 7th out of a possible 8 places. The team's aspirations for an improved season have been met with great success through the acquisition of the accomplished player, C Lee. In addition to their strong offensive capabilities, THUNDER has also acquired the services of MrDot, a highly-regarded defender previously associated with Capsule Corp. This addition is sure to bolster their overall team performance.

Polish DF and THUNDER could meet in the semi-finals of the European Tournament. Who do you think will come out on top?

1/8 PHASE OF THE CHAMPION TOURNAMENT

The official announcement of the 1/8th Champions Tournament pairings has been made, and the teams have been duly assigned:

Stiff Boys - Check Engine

LaFamilia - PEAKY BLINDERS

Bella Ciao - KS TRZYNACHA

We Call It Soccer - Hakuna Matata

As a player in the WCIS, it is my belief that our team will strive to maintain the championship title previously earned in the CT edition. However, we will be closely observing the matches featuring the four teams out of the eight who have achieved victory in the Champions Tournament. The upcoming matches certainly hold promise for an intriguing competition.

1/8 PHASE OF THE EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT

The European Tournament has reached the 1/8 phase, with the following matches scheduled:

WINGSPAN - Polish DF

South Park - THUNDER

НУ ПОГОДИ - BAVOVNA

Space Rangers - KS TRZYNACHA II

In the upcoming European Tournament, we will have the pleasure of witnessing matches between three teams from the Spanish league, three from the German league, and two from the Super League. I, for one, have my personal preference for the Polish DF team to emerge victorious, but ultimately, only time will reveal the outcome of the matches.

Domestic Cup favourites

As we approach the semi-finals of the Domestic Cup, I have taken the liberty to share my perspective on the teams that I believe have the greatest potential to emerge victorious.

I think Bella Ciao will win the English Domestic Cup.

The Rayo eSports team will once again emerge victorious in the Spanish Domestic Cup.

Polish DF will showcase the Domestic Cup trophy for the second time.

Łosie w Kosmosie team is expected to dominate the upcoming games once again.

And you think who will win? Please feel free to leave any comments.

INTERVIEW WITH MORNINGSTAR PART 1/2

Hello all virtual footballers. In today's holiday edition, I had the pleasure of interviewing the captain, the owner of the THUNDER team. A person with whom I had the pleasure of playing in the same club, a very positive individual. I would like to introduce you to the player Morningstar and I invite you to read the interview.

Tell us something about yourself. What's your name, what do you do, any hobbies?

Hello everyone! My name is Mateusz and I work in the IT industry. In addition, my whole life is associated with football, I used to be a player, supporter and even a coach in youth groups, so it's no wonder that I also decided to start an adventure with FootballTeam.

Why do you have such a nickname and what made you start your adventure with FT?

Well, besides to my job and love to football that made me started playing this game, I'm very keen on spending my spare time watching TV series. The origin of my nickname is as simple as that - Lucifer Morningstar is the main character of one of my favourite series 'Lucifer' which is probably well-known for many players in Football Team community, judging by the gifs sent by our rivals in match chat :)

What are your ambitions as a club? Stay in SuperLeague, win some Cups?

Our ambitions as a club are always the same, we're doing our best to be competitive in every competition we take part in and of course our aim is to win some trophies - now we are focused on finishing the SuperLeague on the best possible place and we are going to win European Tournament, but we have to remember that we are only of the 3/4 favorites to win the Cup.

Are you planning any transfers for next season?

The last transfer window was pretty intensive, we were forced to find the replacement for 3 people and we've managed to sign 3 very important players that I am grateful to for trusting us. I don't think the next transfer window will be as spectacular as the last one if everyone decides to stay at the Club - we definitely bet on our players, especially the ones who are with us from the beginning of the English server.

Do you, as the board, allow a merger with another club? If so, under what conditions.

No, we, as the board, are agreed that there is no place for any merger with any club. In THUNDER, there are more important values than having better and better OVR as a club - I always say that THUNDER = family, we do really care about each other and I think we were able to create a certain bond that makes everyone feeling good at our Club - we're not considering changing that.

What would you change/add/remove in FT?

I'm not gonna be original in this case - everyone is waiting for national teams and if I could make any advise to the administration, I would go all in for this module in order to bring new players to the game and to resurrect the desire to play among the current players. What's more I would recommend to totally rearrange Tricks, I can hear from everyone that it's just boring for them and completing callendar tasks related to Tricks is like a punishment for the players.

What is your favorite FT module? What do you most like to spend your time on?

I do really like betting module, it takes some time to analyze the teams and make decision about who to bet on. Unfortunately I'm not keen on betting as there are so many corrupted matches that makes me sick. People who fix matches, and who consciously benefit from it, should definitely be punished - otherwise it makes no sense for betting for points, not cash.

Thank you for reading the first part of the interview. We had such a good conversation that the second part of the interview will be published in the next edition.

FOOTBALL STATISTICS FOR SEASON 9

Greetings everyone!

In the 9th season the teams have already played 15 rounds, which means that it's time to summarize the results and prepare for you, dear readers, the statistics of the clubs. Therefore, based on the statistics of the matches played, you will find out which clubs have the best offense and the best defense, and which, on the contrary, concede the most goals and score few. Let's see how the transfers that took place at the beginning of the season affected the performance of the teams.

The statistics are based on the performance of clubs in Super League and Ligue 1, 2. This does not include clubs with technical defeats. So, let's begin.

The best offense.

The LaFamilia club has the best offense in the SuperLeague. In 15 games, the team scored 74 goals. Thus, on average, the team scores almost 5 goals per game. The team's best forward is edockrul. Currently, the striker is ranked 2nd in the league in terms of goals scored. And Speeziis supplying the striker with goal assists. The player leads the Super League in assists.

In Ligue 1, the best offense belongs to the club Go Complain. In 15 rounds, they have scored 102 goals. The team is scoring almost 7 goals per game. And this is the best indicator among the teams reviewed. The best striker of the team is Forrest Gump, who is on the 1st place in the list of top scorers with 54 goals.

In Ligue 2, the best offense belongs to the Fortaleza Vinchies club. In 15 rounds, they scored 101 goals. And that's almost 7 goals scored in each game. The team's best offensive player is Mysterious FV.

The worst offense.

The Hakuna Matata team has the worst offense in the SuperLeague. In 15 games, the team scored 8 goals. Thus, the team scores 1 goal in 2 games.

In Ligue 1, the worst offense belongs to a club called Parr FC. In 15 matches played, the team failed to score a single goal. And that's the worst score among the teams reviewed. And rightfully occupies the last place in the German championship.

In League 2, the worst attack belongs to FcPoNalewce. For 15 rounds, the club managed to score only 2 goals. And is in last place in the 2A ENG championship.

The best defense.

And in this indicator 2 clubs are leading at once. LaFamilia and Stiff Boys. In 15 matches, the teams have conceded 15 goals each. In club Stiff Boys it is worth highlighting goalkeeper Gianlluigi Buffon, who is currently the best in the league. And goalkeeper LaFamiliaStary na Bramie is ranked #3.

The best defense in League 1 for several clubs at once. They are Bella Ciao, Polish DF and The Kings. Let's celebrate the clubs' goalkeepers. The Chosen One and TIGER are currently the best in the German and Italian championships. And Galu is in 2nd place in the English championship by clean sheets.

In Ligue 2, the best defense belongs to the club Lost in Paradise. In 15 rounds, they conceded only 3 goals. And this is the best indicator among the teams reviewed. In this team we have to mention the goalkeeper - Ge Meiu, who is currently the best goalkeeper in the 2B ESP league.

The worst defense.

In the SuperLeague, the Check Engine club has the worst defense. In 15 games, the club has conceded 72 balls.

In Ligue 1, the worst defense belongs to club Parr FC. The club was the worst already in the 2nd indicator. In 15  rounds, they conceded 103 goals. And that's almost 7 conceded goals in every game. And that's the worst score among the teams examined.

In League 2, the 2 clubs with the most goals conceded are Bentley GE TE and CWKS Legia with 98 goals each.

Thank you for your attention.

WHICH GROUP OF PLAYERS IS THE STRONGEST?

Greetings to all readers! You probably remember from last week that in the upcoming issues of the newspaper, I will be conducting a comparison of four groups. They will compete for the title of the most well-trained players in their positions. I'm talking about top forwards, goalkeepers, midfielders, and defenders. I wanted to check if the position someone plays in affects their training. For example, if the top-ranked player on the server is a forward, do other forwards invest more time in their training, or perhaps goalkeepers or defenders train more efficiently to stop that forward on the field? So, for this purpose, I've created four groups, each consisting of five players. I will measure their training in four categories: Main Skill, Stamina, Secondary Skill, and Set Pieces.

Just a reminder about one thing. Offensive Midfielders are included in the Forward group in my ranking because their main skill, like forwards, is Efficiency, and similarly, Defensive Midfielders are included in the Defender group for the same reason. Since my test group consists of 20 players and I want to compare all of them with each other (Forwards with Goalkeepers, Midfielders, and Defenders, as well as the other groups), I will do this every week. I will count the points earned after each "match," and at the end, we'll see which group trains the best. Last week, we looked at forwards and goalkeepers. Today, it's time for midfielders and defenders. The training data was collected on August 20, 2023, when I gathered information from the top 20 players. The data will be updated weekly, but I wanted to ensure the stability of the test group, so I collected the data on a single day.

The competition will proceed similarly to tournaments, with the distinction that midfielders and defenders will be considered as teams since there are only two "teams." Each player can earn individual points for their group, and then we'll check the total points for the whole group. I believe I can present today's players without unnecessary delays.

List of participating players:

Midfielders:

XXX - Main Skill (2240.90) Stamina (2176.19) Secondary Skill (533.39) Set Pieces (183.77)

Bella Ciao 11 - Main Skill (2023.37) Stamina (1856.86) Secondary Skill (289.26) Set Pieces (761.26)

Speezi - Main Skill (2312.98) Stamina (1856.86) Secondary Skill (309.18) Set Pieces (553.60)

Lord Vader - Main Skill (3189.05) Stamina (1492.87) Secondary Skill (99.27) Set Pieces (99.82)

Acherat - Main Skill (2059.24) Stamina (1866.05) Secondary Skill (100.00) Set Pieces (139.83)

Defenders:

Reginald - Main Skill (2636.53) Stamina (2003.49) Secondary Skill (152.72) Set Pieces (106.37)

Sponsor KST - Main Skill (2016.63) Stamina (1303.51) Secondary Skill (113.00) Set Pieces (142.24)

Francisco de Anconia - Main Skill (2886.97) Stamina (1692.79) Secondary Skill (267.84) Set Pieces (263.38)

Refus - Main Skill (2177.46) Stamina (1272.78) Secondary Skill (247.15) Set Pieces (166.80)

Dream State - Main Skill (1532.99) Stamina (1977.78) Secondary Skill (113.58) Set Pieces (221.05)

Since there are only two "teams," in the individual rounds, I will allow the collection of points to three players, which will accumulate more points over the longer term, making the weekly ranking more interesting.

So let's see which player will earn points for their team in the Main Skill category:

Lord Vader - (3189.05) - Midfielder Team - 3 points

Francisco de Anconia - (2886.97) - Defender Team - 2 points

Reginald - (2636.53) - Defender Team - 1 point

Points for Stamina:

XXX - (2176.19) - Midfielder Team - 3 points

Reginald - (2003.49) - Defender Team - 2 points

Dream State - (1977.78) - Defender Team - 1 point

This time in the Secondary Skill category:

XXX - (533.59) - Midfielder Team - 3 points

Speezi - (309.18) - Midfielder Team - 2 points

Bella Ciao 11 - (289.26) - Midfielder Team - 1 point

Lastly, in the Set Pieces category:

Bella Ciao 11 - (761.26) - Midfielder Team - 3 points

Speezi - (55.60) - Midfielder Team - 2 points

Francisco de Anconia - (263.38) - Defender Team - 1 point

Let's check the ranking after 4 rounds:

Midfielder Team - 17 points

Defender Team - 7 points

At the moment, it's clear that midfielders are excelling in their training. A 10-point lead over defenders is a strong start after the individual rounds. However, let's see how our comparison will continue. Are midfielders only increasing their lead, or will defenders start catching up?

Let's look at the sum of Main Skill:

Midfielder Team - 11825.54 - 2 points

Defender Team - 11250.58 - 1 point

Total Stamina:

Midfielder Team - 9353.52 - 2 points

Defender Team - 8250.35 - 1 point

Time to check Secondary Skill:

Midfielder Team - 1331.10 - 2 points

Defender Team - 894.29 - 1 point

Let's see the ranking before the final round:

Midfielder Team - 23 points

Defender Team - 10 points

Clearly, the server's midfielders are getting good training, with defenders falling behind. They managed to earn a few points in the individual rounds, but they still needed a bit more to compete with midfielders on equal terms. Who knows, maybe they will earn more points in the next encounter? It takes training and a bit of determination. That's all from me for this week. See you in the next article! I wish you productive training, and see you on the field!

TOP 8 CLUBS IF THEY WERE CARTOON CHARACTERS

In today's edition of the article, I would like to dip you into nostalgia for the good days when we could sit quietly and watch cartoons with friends and have a great time.

Remembering watching your favorite cartoons as a child can be a source of usefulness in difficult everyday life. Many of us, over the years, begin to feel the pressure and stress associated with work, obligations, and day-to-day problems. At times like these, it's especially important to find ways to relax and rejuvenate.

Making a cup of hot tea or coffee, cozying up on the couch and enjoying watching your favorite cartoons from your childhood may be exactly what you need. Remembering those bright and cheerful moments that they brought into our lives allows us to move away from everyday worries and experience some nostalgia.

The cartoons have been designed with children in mind - they often feature bright colors, simple stories, and hilarious humor. These elements can have a positive effect on our mood and help reduce stress levels.

In addition, cartoons can inspire us to be creative and develop our imagination. They show us different worlds and characters, opening up a great variety of ideas and possibilities. This can be especially helpful if you're doing creative work or just want to be inspired to take on difficult challenges.

Also, watching cartoons can be a great way to spend time with your kids, if you have any. This not only helps to strengthen family bonds, but also allows us to relax and enjoy simple and relaxed joyful moments.

As a result, remembering watching your favorite cartoons as a child can be not only enjoyable and fun, but also beneficial for our emotional and spiritual life. It helps to disconnect from everyday problems, inspires creativity and returns us to the world of carefree childhood. Do not forget about such moments and include them in your life, especially in difficult everyday life.

LaFamilia - Mr. Big (English big, thug) - a shrew from the cartoon "Zootopia". The image is a reference to Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather: the chair is similar in several details, there are blinds on the windows, and there is also the motif of the daughter's wedding. But the tuxedo with a red flower speaks brightest of all.

We Call It Soccer - they are presented in the form of teams "Snow Kids" participates in tournaments for the Cup of Galaxies Football.

Stiff Boys - Freeman brothers cartoon

KS TRZYNACHA - Coco(2017) cartoon. The concept for Coco is inspired by the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead.

Hakuna Matata - No separate words are needed here. at the sight of their logo and name, it is obvious what kind of cartoon it will be - the lion king! And her heroes - Timon and Pumbaa

BAVOVNA - Well, it's just the bison from the simpsons)

THUNDER - the main character of the cartoon of the same name.

Check Engine - well, inspector gadget, I think a mechanized spy is perfect for this team.

I hope I was able to immerse you in a pleasant atmosphere today. Be sure to write to me which cartoon characters you associate with these teams. That's all for me, we continue to train further, raise OVR and fight for all possible trophies! See you soon!
